Luke 19:13-26

VIN(i) 13 He called ten of his servants and gave them ten coins. He said to them, 'Invest this money until I come back.' 14 But his subjects hated him and sent a delegation after him to say, ‘We do not want this man to rule over us.’ 15 When he returned from procuring his kingship, he summoned the servants to whom he had given the money, to find out what each one had earned. 16 The first servant came and said, 'Sir, your coin has earned ten more coins.' 17 "'Well done, good servant,' he replied; 'because you have been faithful in a very small matter, be in authority over ten towns.' 18 then the second came, and said, Lord, your pound has produc'd five more. 19 The king said to him, 'You take charge of five cities.' 20 Then another servant came and said, ‘Master, here is your mina, which I have laid away in a piece of cloth. 21 for I was afraid of you, because you are a hard man. You take up what you did not lay down, and reap what you did not sow.' 22 He said to him, 'I will judge you out of your own mouth, you wicked servant! You knew that I was a hard man, taking up what I did not lay down and reaping what I did not sow? 23 Why then didn’t you put my money on deposit, and upon coming I would have collected it with interest?’ 24 And he said to those standing by, 'Take the mina away from him, and give it to him who has ten minas.' 25 ‘Master,’ they said, ‘he already has ten!’ 26 'I tell you that to everyone who has, more will be given. But from the one who does not have, even what he has will be taken away.
