Ezekiel 6 The word of Yahweh came to me, saying,

1 H1697 The word H3068 of Yahweh H559 came to me, saying,

2 H1121 Son H120 of man, H7760 set H6440 your face H2022 toward the mountains H3478 of Israel, H5012 and prophesy to them,

3 H559 and say, H2022 You mountains H3478 of Israel, H8085 hear H1697 the word H136 of the Lord H3069 Yahweh: H559 Thus says H136 the Lord H3069 Yahweh H2022 to the mountains H1389 and to the hills, H650 to the watercourses H1516 and to the valleys: H935 Behold, I, even I, will bring H2719 a sword H6 on you, and I will destroy H1116 your high places.

4 H4196 Your altars H8074 shall become desolate, H4196 and your incense altars H7665 shall be broken; H5307 and I will cast down H2491 your slain H6440 men before H1544 your idols.

5 H5414 I will lay H6297 the dead bodies H1121 of the children H3478 of Israel H6440 before H1544 their idols; H2219 and I will scatter H6106 your bones H5439 around H4196 your altars.

6 H4186 In all your dwelling H5892 places the cities H2717 shall be laid waste, H1116 and the high places H3456 shall be desolate; H4196 that your altars H2717 may be laid waste H816 and made desolate, H1544 and your idols H7665 may be broken H7673 and cease, H2553 and your incense altars H1438 may be cut down, H4639 and your works H4229 may be abolished.

7 H2491 The slain H5307 shall fall H8432 in the midst H3045 of you, and you shall know H3068 that I am Yahweh.

8 H3498 Yet will I leave a remnant, H6412 in that you shall have some that escape H2719 the sword H1471 among the nations, H2219 when you shall be scattered H776 through the countries.

9 H6412 Those of you that escape H2142 shall remember H1471 me among the nations H7617 where they shall be carried captive, H7665 how that I have been broken H2181 with their lewd H3820 heart, H5493 which has departed H5869 from me, and with their eyes, H2181 which play the prostitute H310 after H1544 their idols: H6962 and they shall loathe H6440 themselves H7451 in their own sight for the evils H6213 which they have committed H8441 in all their abominations.

10 H3045 They shall know H3068 that I am Yahweh: H1696 I have not said H2600 in vain H6213 that I would do H7451 this evil to them.

11 H559 Thus says H136 the Lord H136 Yahweh: H5221 Strike H3709 with your hand, H7554 and stamp H7272 with your foot, H559 and say, H253 Alas! H7451 because of all the evil H8441 abominations H1004 of the house H3478 of Israel; H5307 for they shall fall H2719 by the sword, H7458 by the famine, H1698 and by the pestilence.

12 H7350 He who is far off H4191 shall die H1698 of the pestilence; H7138 and he who is near H5307 shall fall H2719 by the sword; H7604 and he who remains H5341 and is besieged H4191 shall die H7458 by the famine: H3615 thus will I accomplish H2534 my wrath on them.

13 H3045 You shall know H3068 that I am Yahweh, H2491 when their slain H8432 men shall be among H1544 their idols H5439 around H4196 their altars, H7311 on every high H1389 hill, H7218 on all the tops H2022 of the mountains, H7488 and under every green H6086 tree, H5687 and under every thick H424 oak, H4725 the places H5414 where they offered H5207 pleasant H7381 aroma H1544 to all their idols.

14 H5186 I will stretch out H3027 my hand H5414 on them, and make H776 the land H8077 desolate H4923 and waste, H4057 from the wilderness H1689 toward Diblah, H4186 throughout all their habitations: H3045 and they shall know H3068 that I am Yahweh.
