Jeremiah 16:3-9 For thus says Yahweh concerning the sons and concerning the daughters who are born in this place, and concerning their mothers who bore them, and concerning their fathers who became their father in this land:

3 H559 For thus says H3068 Yahweh H1121 concerning the sons H1323 and concerning the daughters H3205 who are born H4725 in this place, H517 and concerning their mothers H3205 who bore H1 them, and concerning their fathers H3209 who became their father H776 in this land:

4 H4191 They shall die H8463 grievous H4463 deaths: H5594 they shall not be lamented, H6912 neither shall they be buried; H1828 they shall be as dung H6440 on the surface H127 of the ground; H3615 and they shall be consumed H2719 by the sword, H7458 and by famine; H5038 and their dead bodies H3978 shall be food H5775 for the birds H8064 of the sky, H929 and for the animals H776 of the earth.

5 H559 For thus says H3068 Yahweh, H935 Don't enter H1004 into the house H4798 of mourning, H3212 neither go H5594 to lament, H5110 neither bemoan H622 them; for I have taken away H7965 my peace H5971 from this people, H5002 says H3068 Yahweh, H2617 even loving kindness H7356 and tender mercies.

6 H1419 Both great H6996 and small H4191 shall die H776 in this land; H6912 they shall not be buried, H5594 neither shall men lament H1413 for them, nor cut H7139 themselves, nor make themselves bald for them;

7 H6536 neither shall men break H60 bread for them in mourning, H5162 to comfort H4191 them for the dead; H3563 neither shall men give them the cup H8575 of consolation H8248 to drink H1 for their father H517 or for their mother.

8 H935 You shall not go H1004 into the house H4960 of feasting H3427 to sit H398 with them, to eat H8354 and to drink.

9 H559 For thus says H3068 Yahweh H6635 of Armies, H430 the God H3478 of Israel: H7673 Behold, I will cause to cease H4725 out of this place, H5869 before your eyes H3117 and in your days, H6963 the voice H8342 of mirth H6963 and the voice H8057 of gladness, H6963 the voice H2860 of the bridegroom H6963 and the voice H3618 of the bride.
