2 Samuel 10:9-14 When Joab saw that the front of the battle was against him at the face of and behind, he chose of all the choice men of Israel, and put them in array against the Syrians:

10 H3499 And the rest H5971 of the people H5414 [H8804] he gave H3027 into the hand H52 of Abishai H251 his brother, H6186 [H8799] that he might put them in array H7125 [H8800] against H1121 the sons H5983 of Ammon.

11 H559 [H8799] And he said, H758 If the Syrians H2388 [H8799] shall be too strong H3444 for me, then thou shalt help H1121 me: but if the sons H5983 of Ammon H2388 [H8799] shall be too strong H1980 [H8804] for thee, then I will come H3467 [H8687] and liberate thee.

12 H2388 [H8798] Be of good courage, H2388 [H8691] and let us play the men H5971 for our people, H5892 and for the cities H430 of our God: H3068 and the LORD H6213 [H8799] do H5869 that which seemeth H2896 him good.

13 H3097 And Joab H5971 and the people H5066 [H8799] that were with him, drew near, H4421 to the battle H758 against the Syrians: H5127 [H8799] and they fled H6440 at the face of him.

14 H1121 And when the sons H5983 of Ammon H7200 [H8804] saw H758 that the Syrians H5127 [H8804] had fled, H5127 [H8799] then fled H6440 they also at the face of H52 Abishai, H935 [H8799] and entered H5892 into the city. H3097 So Joab H7725 [H8799] returned H1121 from the sons H5983 of Ammon, H935 [H8799] and came H3389 to Jerusalem.
