16 And, behold, one came to him and said: Teacher, what good shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
17 And, he said to him: Why dost thou ask me concerning good? One is the Good. But if thou desirest to enter into life, keep the commandments.
18 He says to him, Which? Jesus said: Thou shalt not kill; Thou shalt not commit adultery; Thou shalt not steal; Thou shalt not bear false witness;
19 Honor thy father and thy mother; and, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
20 The young man says to him: All these I kept; what do I yet lack?
21 Jesus said to him: If thou desirest to be perfect, go, sell what thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.
22 But when the young man heard this saying, he went away sorrowful; for he had great possessions.
