1 Kings 20:34-42 And Ben-hadad said to him, The cities, which my father took from your father, I will restore; and you shall make streets for you in Damascus, as my father made in Samaria. Then said Ahab, I will send you away with this covenant. So he made a covenant with him, and sent him away.

H7971 Then said Ahab, I will send H1285 you away with this covenant. H3772 So he made H1285 a covenant H7971 with him, and sent him away.

35 H259 And a certain H376 man H1121 of the sons H5030 of the prophets H559 said H7453 to his neighbor H1697 in the word H3068 of the LORD, H5221 Smite H4994 me, I pray H376 you. And the man H3985 refused H5221 to smite him.

36 H559 Then said H3282 he to him, Because H834 H8085 you have not obeyed H6963 the voice H3068 of the LORD, H2009 behold, H1980 as soon as you are departed H738 from me, a lion H5221 shall slay H3212 you. And as soon as he was departed H738 from him, a lion H4672 found H5221 him, and slew him.

37 H4672 Then he found H312 another H376 man, H559 and said, H5221 Smite H4994 me, I pray H376 you. And the man H5221 smote H5221 him, so that in smiting H6481 he wounded him.

38 H5030 So the prophet H3212 departed, H5975 and waited H4428 for the king H1870 by the way, H2664 and disguised H665 himself with ashes H5869 on his face.

39 H4428 And as the king H5674 passed H6817 by, he cried H4428 to the king: H559 and he said, H5650 Your servant H3318 went H7130 out into the middle H4421 of the battle; H2009 and, behold, H376 a man H5493 turned H935 aside, and brought H376 a man H559 to me, and said, H8104 Keep H2088 this H376 man: H518 if H6485 by any means he be missing, H5315 then shall your life H5315 be for his life, H176 or H8254 else you shall pay H3603 a talent H3701 of silver.

41 H4116 And he hurried, H665 and took the ashes H5493 away H5869 from his face; H4428 and the king H3478 of Israel H5234 discerned H5030 him that he was of the prophets.

42 H559 And he said H3541 to him, Thus H559 said H3068 the LORD, H3282 Because H7971 you have let go H3027 out of your hand H376 a man H2764 whom I appointed H2764 to utter destruction, H5315 therefore your life H1961 shall go H5315 for his life, H5971 and your people H5971 for his people.
