1 Kings 21:5-15

  5 H348 But Jezebel H802 his wife H935 came H1696 to him, and said H7307 unto him, Why is thy spirit H5620 so sad, H398 that thou eatest H3899 no bread?

  6 H1696 And he said H1696 unto her, Because I spake H5022 unto Naboth H3158 the Jezreelite, H559 and said H5414 unto him, Give H3754 me thy vineyard H3701 for money; H2655 or else, if it please H5414 thee, I will give H3754 thee another vineyard H559 for it: and he answered, H5414 I will not give H3754 thee my vineyard.

  7 H348 And Jezebel H802 his wife H559 said H6213 unto him, Dost thou now govern H4410 the kingdom H3478 of Israel? H6965 arise, H398 and eat H3899 bread, H3820 and let thy heart H3190 be merry: H5414 I will give H3754 thee the vineyard H5022 of Naboth H3158 the Jezreelite.

  8 H3789 So she wrote H5612 letters H256 in Ahab's H8034 name, H2856 and sealed H2368 them with his seal, H7971 and sent H5612 the letters H2205 unto the elders H2715 and to the nobles H5892 that were in his city, H3427 and that dwelt H5022 with Naboth.

  9 H3789 And she wrote H5612 in the letters, H559 saying, H7121 Proclaim H6685 a fast, H3427 and set H5022 Naboth H7218 on high H5971 among the people:

  10 H3427 and set H8147 two H582 men, H1100 base H1121 fellows, H5749 before him, and let them bear witness H559 against him, saying, H1288 Thou didst curse H430 God H4428 and the king. H3318 And then carry him out, H5619 and stone H4191 him to death.

  11 H582 And the men H5892 of his city, H2205 even the elders H2715 and the nobles H3427 who dwelt H5892 in his city, H6213 did H348 as Jezebel H7971 had sent H3789 unto them, according as it was written H5612 in the letters H7971 which she had sent unto them.

  12 H7121 They proclaimed H6685 a fast, H3427 and set H5022 Naboth H7218 on high H5971 among the people.

  13 H8147 And the two H582 men, H1100 the base H1121 fellows, H935 came H3427 in and sat H1100 before him: and the base H582 fellows H5749 bare witness H5022 against him, even against Naboth, H5971 in the presence of the people, H559 saying, H5022 Naboth H1288 did curse H430 God H4428 and the king. H3318 Then they carried him forth H2351 out H5892 of the city, H5619 and stoned H4191 him to death H68 with stones.

  14 H7971 Then they sent H348 to Jezebel, H559 saying, H5022 Naboth H5619 is stoned, H4191 and is dead.

  15 H348 And it came to pass, when Jezebel H8085 heard H5022 that Naboth H5619 was stoned, H4191 and was dead, H348 that Jezebel H559 said H256 to Ahab, H6965 Arise, H3423 take possession H3754 of the vineyard H5022 of Naboth H3158 the Jezreelite, H3985 which he refused H5414 to give H3701 thee for money; H5022 for Naboth H2416 is not alive, H4191 but dead.
