Ezekiel 26:1-28 And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first day of the month, that the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

1 H6249 And it came to pass in the eleventh H8141 year, H259 in the first H2320 day of the month, H1697 that the word H3068 of Jehovah H559 came unto me, saying,

2 H1121 Son H120 of man, H6865 because that Tyre H559 hath said H3389 against Jerusalem, H1889 Aha, H7665 she is broken H1817 that was the gate H5971 of the peoples; H5437 she is turned H4390 unto me; I shall be replenished, H2717 now that she is laid waste:

3 H559 therefore thus saith H136 the Lord H3069 Jehovah, H6865 Behold, I am against thee, O Tyre, H7227 and will cause many H1471 nations H5927 to come up H3220 against thee, as the sea H1530 causeth its waves H5927 to come up.

4 H7843 And they shall destroy H2346 the walls H6865 of Tyre, H2040 and break down H4026 her towers: H5500 I will also scrape H6083 her dust H5414 from her, and make H6706 her a bare H5553 rock.

5 H4894 She shall be a place for the spreading H2764 of nets H8432 in the midst H3220 of the sea; H1696 for I have spoken H5002 it, saith H136 the Lord H3069 Jehovah; H957 and she shall become a spoil H1471 to the nations.

6 H1323 And her daughters H7704 that are in the field H2026 shall be slain H2719 with the sword: H3045 and they shall know H3068 that I am Jehovah.

7 H559 For thus saith H136 the Lord H3069 Jehovah: H935 Behold, I will bring H6865 upon Tyre H5019 Nebuchadrezzar H4428 king H894 of Babylon, H4428 king H4428 of kings, H6828 from the north, H5483 with horses, H7393 and with chariots, H6571 and with horsemen, H6951 and a company, H7227 and much H5971 people.

8 H2026 He shall slay H2719 with the sword H1323 thy daughters H7704 in the field; H5414 and he shall make H1785 forts H8210 against thee, and cast H5550 up a mound H6965 against thee, and raise up H6793 the buckler against thee.

9 H5414 And he shall set H6904 his battering H4239 engines H2346 against thy walls, H2719 and with his axes H5422 he shall break down H4026 thy towers.

10 H8229 By reason of the abundance H5483 of his horses H80 their dust H3680 shall cover H2346 thee: thy walls H7493 shall shake H6963 at the noise H6571 of the horsemen, H1534 and of the wagons, H7393 and of the chariots, H935 when he shall enter H8179 into thy gates, H3996 as men enter H5892 into a city H1234 wherein is made a breach.

11 H6541 With the hoofs H5483 of his horses H7429 shall he tread down H2351 all thy streets; H2026 he shall slay H5971 thy people H2719 with the sword; H4676 and the pillars H5797 of thy strength H3381 shall go down H776 to the ground.

12 H7997 And they shall make a spoil H2428 of thy riches, H962 and make a prey H7404 of thy merchandise; H2040 and they shall break down H2346 thy walls, H5422 and destroy H2532 thy pleasant H1004 houses; H7760 and they shall lay H68 thy stones H6086 and thy timber H6083 and thy dust H8432 in the midst H4325 of the waters.

13 H1995 And I will cause the noise H7892 of thy songs H7673 to cease; H6963 and the sound H3658 of thy harps H8085 shall be no more heard.

14 H5414 And I will make H6706 thee a bare H5553 rock; H4894 thou shalt be a place H4894 for the spreading H2764 of nets; H1129 thou shalt be built H3068 no more: for I Jehovah H1696 have spoken H5002 it, saith H3068 the Lord H136 Jehovah.

15 H559 Thus saith H136 the Lord H3069 Jehovah H6865 to Tyre: H339 shall not the isles H7493 shake H6963 at the sound H4658 of thy fall, H2491 when the wounded H602 groan, H2027 when the slaughter H2026 is made H8432 in the midst of thee?

16 H5387 Then all the princes H3220 of the sea H3381 shall come down H3678 from their thrones, H5493 and lay aside H4598 their robes, H6584 and strip off H7553 their broidered H899 garments: H3847 they shall clothe H2731 themselves with trembling; H3427 they shall sit H776 upon the ground, H2729 and shall tremble H7281 every moment, H8074 and be astonished at thee.

17 H5375 And they shall take up H7015 a lamentation H559 over thee, and say H6 to thee, How art thou destroyed, H3427 that wast inhabited H3220 by seafaring men, H1984 the renowned H5892 city, H2389 that was strong H3220 in the sea, H3427 she and her inhabitants, H5414 that caused H2851 their terror H3427 to be on all that dwelt there!

18 H339 Now shall the isles H2729 tremble H3117 in the day H4658 of thy fall; H339 yea, the isles H3220 that are in the sea H926 shall be dismayed H3318 at thy departure.

19 H559 For thus saith H136 the Lord H136 Jehovah: H5414 When I shall make H2717 thee a desolate H5892 city, H5892 like the cities H3427 that are not inhabited; H5927 when I shall bring up H8415 the deep H7227 upon thee, and the great H4325 waters H3680 shall cover thee;

20 H3381 then will I bring thee down H3381 with them that descend H953 into the pit, H5971 to the people H5769 of old time, H8482 and will make thee to dwell in the nether parts H776 of the earth, H8482 in the places H2723 that are desolate H5769 of old, H3381 with them that go down H953 to the pit, H3427 that thou be not inhabited; H5414 and I will set H6643 glory H776 in the land H2416 of the living.

21 H5414 I will make H1091 thee a terror, H1245 and thou shalt no more have any being; though thou be sought for, H5769 yet shalt thou never H4672 be found H5002 again, saith H136 the Lord H3069 Jehovah.
