  18 H4116 ותמהר made haste, H26 אבוגיל Then Abigail H3947 ותקח and took H3967 מאתים two hundred H3899 לחם loaves, H8147 ושׁנים and two H5035 נבלי bottles H3196 יין of wine, H2568 וחמשׁ and five H6629 צאן sheep H6213 עשׂוות ready dressed, H2568 וחמשׁ and five H5429 סאים measures H7039 קלי of parched H3967 ומאה and a hundred H6778 צמקים clusters of raisins, H3967 ומאתים and two hundred H1690 דבלים cakes of figs, H7760 ותשׂם and laid H5921 על on H2543 החמרים׃ asses.
  19 H559 ותאמר And she said H5288 לנעריה unto her servants, H5674 עברו Go on H6440 לפני before H2005 הנני me; behold, H310 אחריכם after H935 באה I come H376 ולאישׁה her husband H5037 נבל Nabal. H3808 לא not H5046 הגידה׃ you. But she told
  20 H1961 והיה And it was H1931 היא she H7392 רכבת rode H5921 על on H2543 החמור the ass, H3381 וירדת that she came down H5643 בסתר by the covert H2022 ההר of the hill, H2009 והנה and, behold, H1732 דוד David H376 ואנשׁיו and his men H3381 ירדים came down H7122 לקראתה   H6298 ותפגשׁ her; and she met H853 אתם׃  
  21 H1732 ודוד Now David H559 אמר had said, H389 אך Surely H8267 לשׁקר in vain H8104 שׁמרתי have I kept H853 את   H3605 כל all H834 אשׁר that H2088 לזה this H4057 במדבר hath in the wilderness, H3808 ולא so that nothing H6485 נפקד was missed H3605 מכל of all H834 אשׁר that H3972 לו מאומה so that nothing H7725 וישׁב unto him: and he hath requited H7451 לי רעה me evil H8478 תחת for H2896 טובה׃ good.
  22 H3541 כה So H6213 יעשׂה do H430 אלהים God H341 לאיבי unto the enemies H1732 דוד of David, H3541 וכה also H3254 יסיף and more H518 אם if H7604 אשׁאיר I leave H3605 מכל of all H834 אשׁר that H5704 לו עד to him by H1242 הבקר the morning light H8366 משׁתין any that pisseth H7023 בקיר׃ against the wall.
  23 H7200 ותרא saw H26 אביגיל And when Abigail H853 את   H1732 דוד David, H4116 ותמהר she hasted, H3381 ותרד and lighted H5921 מעל off H2543 החמור the ass, H5307 ותפל and fell H639 לאפי before H1732 דוד David H5921 על on H6440 פניה her face, H7812 ותשׁתחו and bowed herself H776 ארץ׃ to the ground,
  24 H5307 ותפל And fell H5921 על at H7272 רגליו his feet, H559 ותאמר and said, H589 בי אני Upon me, H113 אדני my lord, H5771 העון me iniquity H1696 ותדבר speak H4994 נא I pray thee, H519 אמתך and let thine handmaid, H241 באזניך in thine audience, H8085 ושׁמע and hear H853 את   H1697 דברי the words H519 אמתך׃ of thine handmaid.
  25 H408 אל Let not H4994 נא I pray thee, H7760 ישׂים   H113 אדני my lord, H853 את   H3820 לבו   H413 אל   H376 אישׁ man H1100 הבליעל of Belial, H2088 הזה this H5921 על   H5037 נבל Nabal: H3588 כי for H8034 כשׁמו as his name H3651 כן so H1931 הוא he; H5037 נבל Nabal H8034 שׁמו his name, H5039 ונבלה and folly H5973 עמו with H589 ואני him: but I H519 אמתך thine handmaid H3808 לא not H7200 ראיתי saw H853 את   H5288 נערי the young men H113 אדני of my lord, H834 אשׁר whom H7971 שׁלחת׃ thou didst send.
  26 H6258 ועתה Now H113 אדני therefore, my lord, H2416 חי liveth, H3068 יהוה the LORD H2416 וחי liveth, H5315 נפשׁך and thy soul H834 אשׁר seeing H4513 מנעך hath withheld H3068 יהוה the LORD H935 מבוא thee from coming H1818 בדמים to blood, H3467 והושׁע and from avenging H3027 ידך thyself with thine own hand, H6258 לך ועתה now H1961 יהיו be H5037 כנבל as Nabal. H341 איביך let thine enemies, H1245 והמבקשׁים and they that seek H413 אל to H113 אדני my lord, H7451 רעה׃ evil
  27 H6258 ועתה And now H1293 הברכה blessing H2063 הזאת this H834 אשׁר which H935 הביא hath brought H8198 שׁפחתך thine handmaid H113 לאדני unto my lord, H5414 ונתנה let it even be given H5288 לנערים unto the young men H1980 המתהלכים that follow H7272 ברגלי that follow H113 אדני׃ my lord.
  28 H5375 שׂא forgive H4994 נא I pray thee, H6588 לפשׁע the trespass H519 אמתך of thine handmaid: H3588 כי for H6213 עשׂה will certainly make H6213 יעשׂה will certainly make H3068 יהוה the LORD H113 לאדני my lord H1004 בית house; H539 נאמן a sure H3588 כי because H4421 מלחמות the battles H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H113 אדני my lord H3898 נלחם fighteth H7451 ורעה and evil H3808 לא hath not H4672 תמצא been found H3117 בך מימיך׃ in thee thy days.
  29 H6965 ויקם is risen H120 אדם Yet a man H7291 לרדפך to pursue H1245 ולבקשׁ thee, and to seek H853 את   H5315 נפשׁך thy soul: H1961 והיתה shall be H5315 נפשׁ but the soul H113 אדני of my lord H6887 צרורה bound H6872 בצרור in the bundle H2416 החיים of life H854 את with H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God; H853 ואת   H5315 נפשׁ and the souls H341 איביך of thine enemies, H7049 יקלענה them shall he sling out, H8432 בתוך of the middle H3709 כף   H7050 הקלע׃ of a sling.
  30 H1961 והיה And it shall come to pass, H3588 כי when H6213 יעשׂה shall have done H3068 יהוה the LORD H113 לאדני to my lord H3605 ככל according to all H834 אשׁר that H1696 דבר he hath spoken H853 את   H2896 הטובה the good H5921 עליך concerning H6680 וצוך thee, and shall have appointed H5057 לנגיד thee ruler H5921 על over H3478 ישׂראל׃ Israel;
  31 H3808 ולא no H1961 תהיה shall be H2063 זאת That this H6330 לך לפוקה grief H4383 ולמכשׁול unto thee, nor offense H3820 לב of heart H113 לאדני unto my lord, H8210 ולשׁפך either that thou hast shed H1818 דם blood H2600 חנם causeless, H3467 ולהושׁיע hath avenged H113 אדני or that my lord H3190 לו והיטב shall have dealt well H3068 יהוה himself: but when the LORD H113 לאדני with my lord, H2142 וזכרת then remember H853 את   H519 אמתך׃ thine handmaid.
  32 H559 ויאמר said H1732 דוד And David H26 לאביגל to Abigail, H1288 ברוך Blessed H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהי God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H834 אשׁר which H7971 שׁלחך sent H3117 היום day H2088 הזה thee this H7122 לקראתי׃  
  33 H1288 וברוך And blessed H2940 טעמך thy advice, H1288 וברוכה and blessed H859 את thou, H834 אשׁר which H3607 כלתני hast kept H3117 היום day H2088 הזה me this H935 מבוא from coming H1818 בדמים to blood, H3467 והשׁע and from avenging H3027 ידי׃ myself with mine own hand.
  34 H199 ואולם For in very deed, H2416 חי liveth, H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהי God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H834 אשׁר which H4513 מנעני hath kept me back H7489 מהרע from hurting H853 אתך   H3588 כי thee, except H3884 לולי thee, except H4116 מהרת thou hadst hasted H935 ותבאתי and come H7122 לקראתי   H3588 כי me, surely H518 אם there had not H3498 נותר been left H5037 לנבל unto Nabal H5704 עד by H216 אור light H1242 הבקר the morning H8366 משׁתין any that pisseth H7023 בקיר׃ against the wall.
  35 H3947 ויקח received H1732 דוד So David H3027 מידה of her hand H853 את   H834 אשׁר which H935 הביאה she had brought H559 לו ולה אמר him, and said H5927 עלי unto her, Go up H7965 לשׁלום in peace H1004 לביתך to thine house; H7200 ראי see, H8085 שׁמעתי I have hearkened H6963 בקולך to thy voice, H5375 ואשׂא and have accepted H6440 פניך׃ thy person.
