Joshua 10:39-40 וילכדה And he took ואת מלכה it, and the king ואת כל thereof, and all עריה the cities ויכום thereof; and they smote לפי them with the edge חרב of the sword, ויחרימו and utterly destroyed את כל all נפשׁ the souls אשׁר that בה לא none השׁאיר therein; he left שׂריד remaining: כאשׁר as עשׂה he had done לחברון to Hebron, כן so עשׂה he did לדברה to Debir, ולמלכה and to the king וכאשׁר thereof; as עשׂה he had done ללבנה also to Libnah, ולמלכה׃ and to her king.

40 H5221 ויכה smote H3091 יהושׁע So Joshua H853 את H3605 כל all H776 הארץ the country H2022 ההר of the hills, H5045 והנגב and of the south, H8219 והשׁפלה and of the vale, H794 והאשׁדות and of the springs, H853 ואת H3605 כל and all H4428 מלכיהם their kings: H3808 לא none H7604 השׁאיר he left H8300 שׂריד remaining, H853 ואת H3605 כל all H5397 הנשׁמה that breathed, H2763 החרים but utterly destroyed H834 כאשׁר as H6680 צוה commanded.
