Joshua 22:12-20

  12 H8085 וישׁמעו heard H1121 בני And when the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H6950 ויקהלו gathered themselves together H3605 כל the whole H5712 עדת congregation H1121 בני of the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H7887 שׁלה at Shiloh, H5927 לעלות to go H5921 עליהם against H6635 לצבא׃ up to war

  13 H7971 וישׁלחו sent H1121 בני And the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H413 אל unto H1121 בני the children H7205 ראובן of Reuben, H413 ואל and to H1121 בני the children H1410 גד of Gad, H413 ואל and to H2677 חצי the half H7626 שׁבט tribe H4519 מנשׁה of Manasseh, H413 אל into H776 ארץ the land H1568 הגלעד of Gilead, H853 את   H6372 פינחס Phinehas H1121 בן the son H499 אלעזר of Eleazar H3548 הכהן׃ the priest,

  14 H6235 ועשׂרה him ten H5387 נשׂאים princes, H5973 עמו And with H5387 נשׂיא of each chief H259 אחד   H5387 נשׂיא   H259 אחד   H1004 לבית house H1 אב a prince H3605 לכל throughout all H4294 מטות the tribes H3478 ישׂראל of Israel; H376 ואישׁ and each one H7218 ראשׁ a head H1004 בית of the house H1 אבותם of their fathers H1992 המה   H505 לאלפי among the thousands H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.

  15 H935 ויבאו And they came H413 אל unto H1121 בני the children H7205 ראובן of Reuben, H413 ואל and to H1121 בני the children H1410 גד of Gad, H413 ואל and to H2677 חצי the half H7626 שׁבט tribe H4519 מנשׁה of Manasseh, H413 אל unto H776 ארץ the land H1568 הגלעד of Gilead, H1696 וידברו and they spoke H854 אתם with H559 לאמר׃ them, saying,

  16 H3541 כה Thus H559 אמרו saith H3605 כל the whole H5712 עדת congregation H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H4100 מה What H4603 המעל ye have committed H2088 הזה this H834 אשׁר that H4603 מעלתם   H430 באלהי against the God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H7725 לשׁוב to turn away H3117 היום this day H310 מאחרי from following H3068 יהוה the LORD, H1129 בבנותכם in that ye have built H4196 לכם מזבח you an altar, H4775 למרדכם that ye might rebel H3117 היום this day H3068 ביהוה׃ against the LORD?

  17 H4592 המעט too little H853 לנו את   H5771 עון the iniquity H6465 פעור of Peor H834 אשׁר which H3808 לא we are not H2891 הטהרנו cleansed H4480 ממנו for us, from H5704 עד until H3117 היום day, H2088 הזה this H1961 ויהי although there was H5063 הנגף a plague H5712 בעדת in the congregation H3068 יהוה׃ of the LORD,

  18 H859 ואתם But that ye H7725 תשׁבו must turn away H3117 היום this day H310 מאחרי from following H3068 יהוה the LORD? H1961 והיה and it will be, H859 אתם ye H4775 תמרדו rebel H3117 היום today H3068 ביהוה against the LORD, H4279 ומחר that tomorrow H413 אל with H3605 כל the whole H5712 עדת congregation H3478 ישׂראל of Israel. H7107 יקצף׃ he will be wroth

  19 H389 ואך Notwithstanding, H518 אם if H2931 טמאה unclean, H776 ארץ the land H272 אחזתכם of your possession H5674 עברו pass ye over H413 לכם אל unto H776 ארץ the land H272 אחזת of the possession H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H834 אשׁר wherein H7931 שׁכן dwelleth, H8033 שׁם dwelleth, H4908 משׁכן tabernacle H3068 יהוה the LORD's H270 והאחזו and take possession H8432 בתוכנו among H3068 וביהוה against the LORD, H408 אל not H4775 תמרדו us: but rebel H854 ואתנו   H408 אל nor H4775 תמרדו rebel H1129 בבנתכם against us, in building H4196 לכם מזבח you an altar H1107 מבלעדי beside H4196 מזבח the altar H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהינו׃ our God.

  20 H3808 הלוא Did not H5912 עכן Achan H1121 בן the son H2226 זרח of Zerah H4603 מעל commit H4604 מעל a trespass H2764 בחרם in the accursed thing, H5921 ועל on H3605 כל all H5712 עדת the congregation H3478 ישׂראל of Israel? H1961 היה fell H7110 קצף and wrath H1931 והוא and that H376 אישׁ man H259 אחד alone H3808 לא not H1478 גוע perished H5771 בעונו׃ in his iniquity.
