Joshua 22:16-20 כה Thus אמרו saith כל the whole עדת congregation יהוה of the LORD, מה What המעל ye have committed הזה this אשׁר that מעלתם באלהי against the God ישׂראל of Israel, לשׁוב to turn away היום this day מאחרי from following יהוה the LORD, בבנותכם in that ye have built לכם מזבח you an altar, למרדכם that ye might rebel היום this day ביהוה׃ against the LORD?

17 H4592 המעט too little H853 לנו את H5771 עון the iniquity H6465 פעור of Peor H834 אשׁר which H3808 לא we are not H2891 הטהרנו cleansed H4480 ממנו for us, from H5704 עד until H3117 היום day, H2088 הזה this H1961 ויהי although there was H5063 הנגף a plague H5712 בעדת in the congregation H3068 יהוה׃ of the LORD,

18 H859 ואתם But that ye H7725 תשׁבו must turn away H3117 היום this day H310 מאחרי from following H3068 יהוה the LORD? H1961 והיה and it will be, H859 אתם ye H4775 תמרדו rebel H3117 היום today H3068 ביהוה against the LORD, H4279 ומחר that tomorrow H413 אל with H3605 כל the whole H5712 עדת congregation H3478 ישׂראל of Israel. H7107 יקצף׃ he will be wroth

19 H389 ואך Notwithstanding, H518 אם if H2931 טמאה unclean, H776 ארץ the land H272 אחזתכם of your possession H5674 עברו pass ye over H413 לכם אל unto H776 ארץ the land H272 אחזת of the possession H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H834 אשׁר wherein H7931 שׁכן dwelleth, H8033 שׁם dwelleth, H4908 משׁכן tabernacle H3068 יהוה the LORD's H270 והאחזו and take possession H8432 בתוכנו among H3068 וביהוה against the LORD, H408 אל not H4775 תמרדו us: but rebel H854 ואתנו H408 אל nor H4775 תמרדו rebel H1129 בבנתכם against us, in building H4196 לכם מזבח you an altar H1107 מבלעדי beside H4196 מזבח the altar H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהינו׃ our God.

20 H3808 הלוא Did not H5912 עכן Achan H1121 בן the son H2226 זרח of Zerah H4603 מעל commit H4604 מעל a trespass H2764 בחרם in the accursed thing, H5921 ועל on H3605 כל all H5712 עדת the congregation H3478 ישׂראל of Israel? H1961 היה fell H7110 קצף and wrath H1931 והוא and that H376 אישׁ man H259 אחד alone H3808 לא not H1478 גוע perished H5771 בעונו׃ in his iniquity.
