Joshua 24:15-24 ואם And if רע בעיניכם unto you לעבד to serve את יהוה the LORD, בחרו choose לכם היום you this day את מי whom תעבדון ye will serve; אם whether את אלהים the gods אשׁר which עבדו served אבותיכם your fathers אשׁר that בעבר on the other side הנהר of the flood, ואם or את אלהי the gods האמרי of the Amorites, אשׁר אתם ye ישׁבים dwell: בארצם in whose land ואנכי but as for me וביתי and my house, נעבד we will serve את יהוה׃ the LORD.

15 H518 ואם And if H7451 רע H5869 בעיניכם unto you H5647 לעבד to serve H853 את H3068 יהוה the LORD, H977 בחרו choose H3117 לכם היום you this day H853 את H4310 מי whom H5647 תעבדון ye will serve; H518 אם whether H853 את H430 אלהים the gods H834 אשׁר which H5647 עבדו served H1 אבותיכם your fathers H834 אשׁר that H5676 בעבר on the other side H5104 הנהר of the flood, H518 ואם or H853 את H430 אלהי the gods H567 האמרי of the Amorites, H834 אשׁר H859 אתם ye H3427 ישׁבים dwell: H776 בארצם in whose land H595 ואנכי but as for me H1004 וביתי and my house, H5647 נעבד we will serve H853 את H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.

16 H6030 ויען answered H5971 העם And the people H559 ויאמר and said, H2486 חלילה God forbid H5800 לנו מעזב that we should forsake H853 את H3068 יהוה the LORD, H5647 לעבד to serve H430 אלהים gods; H312 אחרים׃ other

17 H3588 כי For H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהינו our God, H1931 הוא he H5927 המעלה that brought H853 אתנו H853 ואת H1 אבותינו us up and our fathers H776 מארץ out of the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H1004 מבית from the house H5650 עבדים of bondage, H834 ואשׁר and which H6213 עשׂה did H5869 לעינינו in our sight, H853 את H226 האתות signs H1419 הגדלות great H428 האלה those H8104 וישׁמרנו and preserved H3605 בכל us in all H1870 הדרך the way H834 אשׁר wherein H1980 הלכנו we went, H3605 בה ובכל and among all H5971 העמים the people H834 אשׁר H5674 עברנו whom we passed: H7130 בקרבם׃ through

18 H1644 ויגרשׁ drove out H3068 יהוה And the LORD H853 את H3605 כל us all H5971 העמים the people, H853 ואת H567 האמרי even the Amorites H3427 ישׁב which dwelt H776 הארץ in the land: H6440 מפנינו from before H1571 גם also H587 אנחנו will we H5647 נעבד serve H853 את H3068 יהוה the LORD; H3588 כי for H1931 הוא he H430 אלהינו׃ our God.

19 H559 ויאמר said H3091 יהושׁע And Joshua H413 אל unto H5971 העם the people, H3808 לא he will not H3201 תוכלו H5647 לעבד serve H853 את H3068 יהוה the LORD: H3588 כי for H430 אלהים God; H6918 קדשׁים a holy H1931 הוא he H410 אל God; H7072 קנוא a jealous H1931 הוא he H3808 לא H5375 ישׂא forgive H6588 לפשׁעכם your transgressions H2403 ולחטאותיכם׃ nor your sins.

20 H3588 כי If H5800 תעזבו ye forsake H853 את H3068 יהוה the LORD, H5647 ועבדתם and serve H430 אלהי gods, H5236 נכר strange H7725 ושׁב then he will turn H7489 והרע and do you hurt, H3615 לכם וכלה and consume H853 אתכם H310 אחרי you, after H834 אשׁר that H3190 היטיב׃ he hath done you good.

21 H559 ויאמר said H5971 העם And the people H413 אל unto H3091 יהושׁע Joshua, H3808 לא Nay; H3588 כי but H853 את H3068 יהוה the LORD. H5647 נעבד׃ we will serve

22 H559 ויאמר said H3091 יהושׁע And Joshua H413 אל unto H5971 העם the people, H5707 עדים witnesses H859 אתם Ye H3588 בכם כי against yourselves that H859 אתם ye H977 בחרתם have chosen H853 לכם את H3068 יהוה you the LORD, H5647 לעבד to serve H853 אותו H559 ויאמרו him. And they said, H5707 עדים׃ witnesses.

23 H6258 ועתה Now H5493 הסירו therefore put away, H853 את H430 אלהי gods H5236 הנכר the strange H834 אשׁר which H7130 בקרבכם among H5186 והטו you, and incline H853 את H3824 לבבכם your heart H413 אל unto H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהי God H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.

24 H559 ויאמרו said H5971 העם And the people H413 אל unto H3091 יהושׁע Joshua, H853 את H3068 יהוה The LORD H430 אלהינו our God H5647 נעבד will we serve, H6963 ובקולו and his voice H8085 נשׁמע׃ will we obey.
