Numbers 18:3-8 And they shall keep thy charge , and the charge of all the tabernacle : only they shall not come nigh the vessels of the sanctuary and the altar , that neither they, nor ye also, die .

4 H3867 And they shall be joined [H8738] H8104 unto thee, and keep [H8804] H4931 the charge H168 of the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation H5656 , for all the service H168 of the tabernacle H2114 : and a stranger [H8801] H7126 shall not come nigh [H8799] unto you.

5 H8104 And ye shall keep [H8804] H4931 the charge H6944 of the sanctuary H4931 , and the charge H4196 of the altar H7110 : that there be no wrath H1121 any more upon the children H3478 of Israel.

6 H3947 And I, behold, I have taken [H8804] H251 your brethren H3881 the Levites H8432 from among H1121 the children H3478 of Israel H5414 : to you they are given [H8803] H4979 as a gift H3068 for the LORD H5647 , to do [H8800] H5656 the service H168 of the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation.

7 H1121 Therefore thou and thy sons H8104 with thee shall keep [H8799] H3550 your priest's office H1697 for every thing H4196 of the altar H1004 , and within H6532 the vail H5647 ; and ye shall serve [H8804] H5414 : I have given [H8799] H3550 your priest's office H5656 unto you as a service H4979 of gift H2114 : and the stranger [H8801] H7131 that cometh nigh H4191 shall be put to death [H8714] .

8 H3068 And the LORD H1696 spake [H8762] H175 unto Aaron H5414 , Behold, I also have given [H8804] H4931 thee the charge H8641 of mine heave offerings H6944 of all the hallowed things H1121 of the children H3478 of Israel H5414 ; unto thee have I given [H8804] H4888 them by reason of the anointing H1121 , and to thy sons H2706 , by an ordinance H5769 for ever.
