2 Chronicles 34:3-7 For in the eighth year of his reign , while he was yet young , he began to seek after the God of David his father : and in the twelfth year he began to purge Judah and Jerusalem from the high places , and the groves , and the carved images , and the molten images.

4 H5422 And they brake down [H8762] H4196 the altars H1168 of Baalim H6440 in his presence H2553 ; and the images H4605 , that were on high above them H1438 , he cut down [H8765] H842 ; and the groves H6456 , and the carved images H4541 , and the molten images H7665 , he brake in pieces [H8765] H1854 , and made dust [H8689] H2236 of them, and strowed [H8799] H6440 it upon H6913 the graves H2076 of them that had sacrificed [H8802] unto them.

5 H8313 And he burnt [H8804] H6106 the bones H3548 of the priests H4196 upon their altars H2891 , and cleansed [H8762] H3063 Judah H3389 and Jerusalem.

6 H5892 And so did he in the cities H4519 of Manasseh H669 , and Ephraim H8095 , and Simeon H5321 , even unto Naphtali H2719 , with their mattocks H5439 round about.

7 H5422 And when he had broken down [H8762] H4196 the altars H842 and the groves H3807 , and had beaten [H8765] H6456 the graven images H1854 into powder [H8687] H1438 , and cut down [H8765] H2553 all the idols H776 throughout all the land H3478 of Israel H7725 , he returned [H8799] H3389 to Jerusalem.
