Galatians 3:6-14

MLV(i) 6 Just-as Abraham believed God and it was counted to him for righteousness. 7 Consequently, you know that those who are from faith, they are sons of Abraham. 8 Now the Scripture foreseeing that God would make righteous the Gentiles from faith, proclaimed the good-news beforehand to Abraham, saying, ‘All the nations will be blessed in you.’ 9 So-then those who are sons from faith are blessed together with the believing Abraham. 10 For as many as are from the works of the law are under a curse; for it has been written, ‘Cursed is everyone who is not remaining in all things which have been written in the book of the law, and to practice them.’ 11 Now it is evident that no one is made righteous in the law before God, because, ‘The righteous will be living from faith.’ 12 Now the law is not from faith, but, ‘The man who does them will live in them.’ 13 Christ bought us up out of the curse of the law, having become a curse on our behalf; for it has been written, ‘Cursed is everyone who hangs upon a tree,’ 14 in order that the blessing of Abraham might happen to the Gentiles in Christ Jesus; in order that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through the faith.
