Jeremiah 28:12-17 Then the word of Yahweh came to Jeremiah, after that Hananiah the prophet had broken the bar from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying,

12 H1697 Then the word H3068 of Yahweh H3414 came to Jeremiah, H310 after H2608 that Hananiah H5030 the prophet H7665 had broken H4133 the bar H6677 from off the neck H5030 of the prophet H3414 Jeremiah, H559 saying,

13 H1980 Go, H559 and tell H2608 Hananiah, H559 saying, H559 Thus says H3068 Yahweh: H7665 You have broken H4133 the bars H6086 of wood; H6213 but you have made H4133 in their place bars H1270 of iron.

14 H559 For thus says H3068 Yahweh H6635 of Armies, H430 the God H3478 of Israel: H5414 I have put H5923 a yoke H1270 of iron H6677 on the neck H1471 of all these nations, H5647 that they may serve H5019 Nebuchadnezzar H4428 king H894 of Babylon; H5647 and they shall serve H5414 him: and I have given H2416 him the animals H7704 of the field also.

15 H5030 Then the prophet H3414 Jeremiah H559 said H2608 to Hananiah H5030 the prophet, H8085 Hear H2608 now, Hananiah: H3068 Yahweh H7971 has not sent H5971 you; but you make this people H982 to trust H8267 in a lie.

16 H559 Therefore thus says H3068 Yahweh, H7971 Behold, I will send H6440 you away from off the surface H127 of the earth: H8141 this year H4191 you shall die, H1696 because you have spoken H5627 rebellion H3068 against Yahweh.

17 H2608 So Hananiah H5030 the prophet H4191 died H8141 the same year H7637 in the seventh H2320 month.
