Deuteronomy 13:5-18 And that prophet , or that dreamer of dreams , shall be put to death ; because he hath spoken to turn you away from the LORD your God , who brought you out of the land of Egypt , and redeemed you from the house of bondage , to thrust thee out of the way which the LORD thy God commanded thee to walk in . So shalt thou remove the evil from the midst of thee.

7 H430 Namely, of the gods H5971 of the people H5439 who are around H7138 you, near H7350 to thee, or far off H7097 from thee, from one end H776 of the earth H7097 even to the other end H776 of the earth;

8 H14 [H8799] Thou shalt not consent H8085 [H8799] to him, nor hearken H5869 to him; neither shall thy eye H2347 [H8799] pity H2550 [H8799] him, neither shalt thou spare H3680 [H8762] , neither shalt thou conceal him:

9 H2026 [H8800] But thou shalt surely H2026 [H8799] kill H3027 him; thy hand H7223 shall be first H4191 [H8687] upon him to put him to death H314 , and afterwards H3027 the hand H5971 of all the people.

10 H5619 [H8804] And thou shalt stone H68 him with stones H4191 [H8804] , that he shall die H1245 [H8765] ; because he hath sought H5080 [H8687] to thrust thee away H3068 from the LORD H430 thy God H3318 [H8688] , who brought thee out H776 of the land H4714 of Egypt H1004 , from the house H5650 of bondage.

11 H3478 And all Israel H8085 [H8799] shall hear H3372 [H8799] , and fear H6213 [H8800] , and shall do H3254 [H8686] no more H1697 any H7451 such wickedness H7130 as this is among you.

12 H8085 [H8799] If thou shalt hear H259 in one H5892 of thy cities H3068 , which the LORD H430 thy God H5414 [H8802] hath given H3427 [H8800] thee to dwell H559 [H8800] there, saying,

13 H582 Certain men H1100 , corrupt H1121 men H3318 [H8804] , have gone out H7130 from among H5080 [H8686] you, and have seduced H3427 [H8802] the inhabitants H5892 of their city H559 [H8800] , saying H3212 [H8799] , Let us go H5647 [H8799] and serve H312 other H430 gods H3045 [H8804] , which ye have not known;

14 H1875 [H8804] Then shalt thou enquire H2713 [H8804] , and make search H7592 [H8804] , and ask H3190 [H8687] diligently H571 ; and, behold, if it is truth H1697 , and the thing H3559 [H8737] certain H2063 , that such H8441 abomination H6213 [H8738] is wrought H7130 among you;

15 H5221 [H8687] Thou shalt surely H5221 [H8686] smite H3427 [H8802] the inhabitants H5892 of that city H6310 with the edge H2719 of the sword H2763 [H8685] , destroying it utterly H929 , and all that is in it, and its cattle H6310 , with the edge H2719 of the sword.

16 H6908 [H8799] And thou shalt gather H7998 all the spoil H8432 of it into the midst H7339 of its street H8313 [H8804] , and shalt burn H784 with fire H5892 the city H7998 , and all the spoil H3632 , every bit of it H3068 , for the LORD H430 thy God H8510 : and it shall be an heap H5769 for ever H1129 [H8735] ; it shalt not be built again.

17 H1692 [H8799] And there shall cleave H3972 nothing H2764 of the cursed thing H3027 to thy hand H3068 : that the LORD H7725 [H8799] may turn H2740 from the fierceness H639 of his anger H5414 [H8804] , and show H7356 thee mercy H7355 [H8765] , and have compassion H7235 [H8689] upon thee, and multiply H7650 [H8738] thee, as he hath sworn H1 to thy fathers;

18 H8085 [H8799] When thou shalt hearken H6963 to the voice H3068 of the LORD H430 thy God H8104 [H8800] , to keep H4687 all his commandments H6680 [H8764] which I command H3117 thee this day H6213 [H8800] , to do H3477 that which is right H5869 in the eyes H3068 of the LORD H430 thy God.
