  24 G1161 And G2424 Jesus G611 [G5679] answered G2036 [G5627] and said G846 to them G2504 , { I also G2065 [G5692] will ask G5209 you G1520 one G3056 thing G3739 , which G1437 if G2036 [G5632] ye tell G3427 me G2504 , I also G2046 [G5692] will tell G5213 you G1722 by G4169 what G1849 authority G4160 [G5719] I do G5023 these things.}

  25 G908 { The baptism G2491 of John G4159 , where G2258 [G5713] was it G1537 from? from G3772 heaven G2228 , or G1537 from G444 men G1161 ? And G1260 [G5711] they reasoned G3844 with G1438 themselves G3004 [G5723] , saying G1437 , If G2036 [G5632] we shall say G1537 , From G3772 heaven G2046 [G5692] ; he will say G2254 to us G1302 , Why G3767 then G4100 0 did ye G3756 not G4100 [G5656] believe G846 him?}

  26 G1161 But G1437 if G2036 [G5632] we shall say G1537 , From G444 men G5399 [G5736] ; we fear G3793 the people G1063 ; for G3956 all G2192 [G5719] hold G2491 John G5613 as G4396 a prophet.
