Mark 2:3-11

Worrell(i) 3 And they come, bringing to Him a paralytic, borne by four. 4 And not being able to bring him to Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was; and, having broken it up, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying. 5 And Jesus, seeing their faith, saith to the paralytic, "Child, your sins are forgiven." 6 But there were some of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts, 7 "Why doth this Man speak thus? He blasphemeth! Who can forgive sins but One, God?" 8 And straightway Jesus, perceiving in His spirit that they so reason within themselves, saith to them, "Why do ye reason these things in your hearts? 9 Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Arise, and take up your bed, and walk?' 10 But, that ye may know the Son of Man hath authority on earth to forgive sins (He saith to the paralytic). 11 I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house."
