Romanian⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁴ Apropiaţi-vă de El, piatra vie, lepădată de oameni, dar aleasă şi scumpă înaintea lui Dumnezeu. ⁵ Şi voi, ca nişte pietre vii, sînteţi zidiţi ca să fiţi o casă duhovnicească, o preoţie sfîntă, şi să aduceţi jertfe duhovniceşti, plăcute lui Dumnezeu, prin Isus Hristos. ⁶ Căci este scris în Scriptură: Iată că pun în Sion o piatră din capul unghiului, aleasă, scumpă; şi cine se încrede în El, nu va fi dat de ruşine." ⁷ Cinstea aceasta este dar pentru voi cari aţi crezut! Dar pentru cei necredincioşi, piatra, pe care au lepădat-o zidarii, a ajuns să fie pusă în capul unghiului"; ⁸ şi o piatră de poticnire, şi o stîncă de cădere". Ei se lovesc de ea, pentrucă n-au crezut Cuvîntul, şi la aceasta sînt rînduiţi.

Ukrainian⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁴ Приступайте до Нього, до Каменя живого, дорогоцінного, що відкинули люди Його, але вибрав Бог. ⁵ І самі, немов те каміння живе, будуйтеся в дім духовий, на священство святе, щоб приносити жертви духовні, приємні для Бога через Ісуса Христа. ⁶ Бо стоїть у Писанні: Ось кладу Я на Сіоні Каменя вибраного, наріжного, дорогоцінного, і хто вірує в Нього, той не буде осоромлений! ⁷ Отож бо, для вас, хто вірує, Він коштовність, а для тих, хто не вірує камінь, що його занедбали були будівничі, той наріжним став каменем, ⁸ і камінь спотикання, і скеля спокуси, і об нього вони спотикаються, не вірячи слову, на що й призначені були.

UkrainianNT⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁴ Приступаючи до Него, до каменя живого, від людей відкинутого, від Бога ж вибраного, дорогого, ⁵ і самі, яко живе камінне, будуйте дім духовний, сьвященьство сьвяте, щоб приношено духовні жертви любоприємні Богу через Ісуса Христа. ⁶ Тим то й стоїть в писанню: "Ось, владу в Сионї угольний, камінь, ви. браний, дорогий; і віруючий в Него не осоромить ся." ⁷ Оце як вам віруючим, - дорогий, неслухняним же "камінь, що відкинули будівничі, та став ся у голову угла, - камінь спотикання і скеля поблазнї"; ⁸ і спотикають ся, не слухаючи слова, на що вони й полишені.
