Proverbs 19:13-29

  19:13   152 αισχύνη [³is shame 3962 πατρί ⁴to a father 5207 υιός ²son 878 άφρων ¹A foolish]; 2532 και and 3756 ουχ [⁵are not 53 αγναί ⁶pure 2171 ευχαί ¹vows paid out 575 από ²from 3410 μισθώματος ³the hire 2082.2 εταίρας ⁴of a mistress].   19:14   3624 οίκον A house 2532 και and 5223 ύπαρξιν substance 3307 μερίζουσι is portioned 3962 πατέρες by fathers 3816 παισί to children; 3844-1161 παρά δε but by 2962 κυρίου the lord 718 αρμόζεται [²is accorded 1135 γυνή ¹a wife] 435 ανδρί to a man.   19:15   1167 δειλία Dread 2722 κατέχει holds down 407.1 ανδρόγυνον an effeminate man; 5590-1161 ψυχή δε and the soul 104.2 αεργού of the idle 3983 πεινάσει hungers.   19:16   3739 ος The one who 5442 φυλάσσει keeps 1785 εντολήν the commandment 5083 τηρεί gives heed to 3588 την   1438 εαυτού his own 5590 ψυχήν soul; 3588-1161 ο δε but the one 2706 καταφρονών disdaining 3588 των   1438 εαυτού his own 3598 οδών ways 622 απολείται shall perish.   19:17   1155 δανείζει [⁴lends 2316 θεώ ⁵to God 3588 ο ¹The one 1653 ελεών ²showing mercy 4434 πτωχόν ³on the poor]; 2596-1161 κατά δε and according to 3588 το   1390-1473 δόμα αυτού his gift 467 ανταποδώσει he shall make recompense 1473 αυτώ to him.   19:18   3811 παίδευε Correct 5207-1473 υιόν σου your son! 3779-1063 ούτω γαρ for thus 1510.8.3 έσται he will be 2107.3 εύελπις confident; 1519 εις [⁶to 1161 δε ¹but 5196 ύβριν ⁷insult 3361 μη ²do not 1869 επαίρου ³lift up 3588 τη ⁴the 5590 ψυχή ⁵soul]!   19:19   2558.2 κακόφρων An evil-minded 435 ανήρ man 4183 πολλά [²much 2210 ζημιωθήσεται ¹shall be penalized]; 1437-1161 εάν δε and if 3060.1 λοιμεύηται there should be injury, 2532 και [²even 3588 την   5590-1473 ψυχήν αυτού ³his life 4369 προσθήσει ¹he shall add].   19:20   191 άκουε Hear, 5207 υιέ O son, 3809 παιδείαν the instruction 3962-1473 πατρός σου of your father! 2443 ίνα that 4680 σοφός [²wise 1096 γένη ¹you should become] 1909 επ΄ unto 2078-1473 εσχάτων σου your last days.   19:21   4183 πολλοί Many 3053 λογισμοί devices 1722 εν are in 2588 καρδία the heart 435 ανδρός of a man; 3588-1161 η δε but the 1012 βουλή counsel 3588 του of the 2962 κυρίου lord 1519 εις [²into 3588 τον ³the 165 αιώνα ⁴eon 3306 μένει ¹abides].   19:22   2590 καρπός [²is a fruit 435 ανδρί ³to a man 1654 ελεημοσύνη ¹Charity]; 2908-1161 κρείσσων δε but better 4434 πτωχός a poor 1342 δίκαιος just man, 2228 η than 4145 πλούσιος a rich 5583 ψεύστης liar.   19:23   5401 φόβος Fear 2962 κυρίου of the lord 1519-2222 εις ζωήν is life to 435 ανδρί a man; 3588-1161 ο δε but the one 869.2 άφοβος without fear 835 αυλισθήσεται shall lodge 1722 εν in 5117 τόποις places 3739 ου where 3756 ουκ [²is not 1983 επισκοπείται ³overseen 1108 γνώσις ¹knowledge].   19:24   3588 ο The man 1470 εγκρύπτων hiding 1519 εις [⁴in 3588 τον   2859 κόλπον ⁵his enfolded arm 1473 αυτού ¹his 5495 χείρας ³hands 95 αδίκως ²unjust], 3761 ουδέ not even 3588 τω   4750 στόματι [⁴to his mouth 3766.2 ου μη ¹will he in any way 4317 προσαγάγη ²bring 1473 αυτάς ³them].   19:25   3061 λοιμού [³of his mischievousness 3146 μαστιγουμένου ²being whipped 878 άφρων ¹A fool 3835 πανουργότερος ⁵more clever 1510.8.3 έσται ⁴will be]; 1437-1161 εάν δε but if 1651 ελέγχης you should reprove 435 άνδρα [²man 5429 φρόνιμον ¹an intelligent] 3539 νοήσει he shall comprehend 144 αίσθησιν for good sense.   19:26   3588 ο The one 818 ατιμάζων dishonoring 3962 πατέρα his father, 2532 και and 683 απωθούμενος thrusting away 3384-1473 μητέρα αυτού his mother, 2617 καταισχυνθήσεται [²disgraced 2532 και ³and 2027.1 επονείδιστος ⁴reviled 1510.8.3 έσται ¹he will be].   19:27   5207 υιός A son 620 απολειπόμενος ceasing 5442 φυλάξαι to guard 3809 παιδείαν the instruction 3962 πατρός of a father 3191 μελετήσει shall meditate upon 4488.1 ρήσεις [²sayings 2556 κακάς ¹evil].   19:28   3588 ο The one 1449.1 εγγυώμενος guaranteeing a loan 3816 παίδα [²child 878 άφρονα ¹of a foolish] 2530.1 καθυβρίσει insults 1345 δικαίωμα the ordinance; 4750-1161 στόμα δε and the mouth 765 ασεβών of the impious 2666 καταπίεται shall swallow down 2920 κρίσεις judgments.   19:29   2090 ετοιμάζονται [²are prepared 189.1 ακολάστοις ³for the unrestrained 3148 μάστιγες ¹The whips]; 2532 και and 5098 τιμωρίαι punishments 3668 ομοίως in like manner 878 άφροσιν for fools.
