Ezekiel 8:8-16

  8 H559 [H8799] Then said H1121 he to me, Son H120 of man, H2864 [H8798] dig H7023 now in the wall: H2864 [H8799] and when I had dug H7023 in the wall, H259 behold a H6607 door.

  9 H559 [H8799] And he said H935 [H8798] to me, Go in, H7200 [H8798] and behold H7451 the wicked H8441 abominations H6213 [H8802] that they do here.

  10 H935 [H8799] So I went in H7200 [H8799] and saw; H8403 and behold every form H7431 of creeping things, H8263 and abominable H929 beasts, H1544 and all the idols H1004 of the house H3478 of Israel, H2707 [H8794] carved H5439 around H7023 upon the wall.

  11 H5975 [H8802] And there stood H6440 at the face of H7657 them seventy H376 men H2205 of the elders H1004 of the house H3478 of Israel, H8432 and in the midst H5975 [H8802] of them stood H2970 Jaazaniah H1121 the son H8227 of Shaphan, H376 with every man H4730 his censer H3027 in his hand; H6282 and a thick H6051 cloud H7004 of incense H5927 [H8802] went up.

  12 H559 [H8799] Then said H1121 he to me, Son H120 of man, H7200 [H8804] hast thou seen H2205 what the elders H1004 of the house H3478 of Israel H6213 [H8802] do H2822 in the dark, H376 every man H2315 in the chambers H4906 of his imagery? H559 [H8802] for they say, H3068 The LORD H7200 [H8802] seeth H3068 us not; the LORD H5800 [H8804] hath forsaken H776 the earth.

  13 H559 [H8799] He said H7725 [H8799] also to me, Turn H7200 [H8799] thee yet again, and thou shalt see H1419 greater H8441 abominations H6213 [H8802] that they do.

  14 H935 [H8686] Then he brought H6607 me to the door H8179 of the gate H3068 of the LORD'S H1004 house H6828 which was toward the north; H3427 [H8802] and, behold, there sat H802 women H1058 [H8764] weeping H8542 for Tammuz.

  15 H559 [H8799] Then said H7200 [H8804] he to me, Hast thou seen H1121 this, O son H120 of man? H7725 [H8799] turn H7200 [H8799] thee yet again, and thou shalt see H1419 greater H8441 abominations than these.

  16 H935 [H8686] And he brought H6442 me into the inner H2691 court H3068 of the LORD'S H1004 house, H6607 and, behold, at the door H1964 of the temple H3068 of the LORD, H197 between the porch H4196 and the altar, H2568 were about five H6242 and twenty H376 men, H268 with their backs H1964 toward the temple H3068 of the LORD, H6440 and their faces H6924 toward the east; H7812 [H8693] and they worshipped H8121 the sun H6924 toward the east.
