Ruth 2:12-23

  12 H3068 The LORD H7999 [H8762] recompense H6467 thy work, H8003 and a full H4909 reward H3068 be given thee of the LORD H430 God H3478 of Israel, H3671 under whose wings H935 [H8804] thou hast come H2620 [H8800] to trust.

  13 H9001 Then H559 [H8799] she said, H4672 [H8799] Let me find H2580 favour H9003 in H9021 thy H5869 eyes, H9020 my H113 sovereign; H3588 for H5162 [H8765] that thou hast comforted H9030 me, H9002 and H3588 for H1696 [H8765] that thou hast spoken H5921 to H3820 the heart H9021 of thy H8198 handmaid, H9002 though H595 I H1961 am H3808 not H9004 like H259 one H9021 of thy H8198 handmaidens.

  14 H1162 And Boaz H559 [H8799] said H6256 H400 to her, At mealtime H5066 [H8798] come H1988 thou here, H398 [H8804] and eat H3899 of the bread, H2881 [H8804] and dip H6595 thy morsel H2558 in the vinegar. H3427 [H8799] And she sat H6654 beside H7114 [H8802] the reapers: H6642 [H8799] and he reached H7039 for her roasted H398 [H8799] grain, and she ate, H7646 [H8799] and was satisfied, H3498 [H8686] and left.

  15 H6965 [H8799] And when she had risen H3950 [H8763] to glean, H1162 Boaz H6680 [H8762] commanded H5288 his young men, H559 [H8800] saying, H3950 [H8762] Let her glean H6016 even among the sheaves, H3637 [H8686] and wound her not:

  16 H7997 [H8799] And let fall H6653 also some of the handfuls H7997 [H8800] of purpose H5800 [H8804] for her, and leave H3950 [H8765] them, that she may glean H1605 [H8799] them, and chide her not.

  17 H3950 [H8762] So she gleaned H7704 in the field H6153 until evening, H2251 [H8799] and beat out H3950 [H8765] that which she had gleaned: H374 and it was about an ephah H8184 of barley.

  18 H5375 [H8799] And she took it up, H935 [H8799] and went H5892 into the city: H2545 and her mother in law H7200 [H8799] saw H3950 [H8765] what she had gleaned: H3318 [H8686] and she brought out, H5414 [H8799] and gave H3498 [H8689] to her what she had reserved H7648 after she was satisfied.

  19 H2545 And her mother in law H559 [H8799] said H3950 [H8765] to her, Where hast thou gleaned H3117 to day? H375 and where H6213 [H8804] hast thou laboured? H1288 [H8803] blessed H5234 [H8688] be he that took knowledge H5046 [H8686] of thee. And she showed H2545 her mother in law H6213 [H8804] with whom she had wrought, H559 [H8799] and said, H376 The man's H8034 name H6213 [H8804] with whom I wrought H3117 to day H1162 is Boaz.

  20 H5281 And Naomi H559 [H8799] said H3618 to her daughter in law, H1288 [H8803] Blessed H3068 be he of the LORD, H5800 [H8804] who hath not withheld H2617 his mercy H2416 to the living H4191 [H8801] and to the dead. H5281 And Naomi H559 [H8799] said H376 to her, The man H7138 is near of kin H1350 [H8802] to us, one of our next kinsmen.

  21 H7327 And Ruth H4125 the Moabitess H559 [H8799] said, H559 [H8804] He said H1692 [H8799] to me also, Thou shalt keep close H5288 by my young men, H3615 [H8765] until they have ended H7105 all my harvest.

  22 H5281 And Naomi H559 [H8799] said H7327 to Ruth H3618 her daughter in law, H2896 It is good, H1323 my daughter, H3318 [H8799] that thou shouldest go out H5291 with his damsels, H6293 [H8799] that they meet H312 thee not in any other H7704 field.

  23 H1692 [H8799] So she kept close H5291 by the damsels H1162 of Boaz H3950 [H8763] to glean H3615 [H8800] to the end H8184 of barley H7105 harvest H2406 and of wheat H7105 harvest; H3427 [H8799] and dwelt H2545 with her mother in law.
