2 Chronicles 30 And Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, to keep the passover to the LORD God of Israel.

2 H4428 For the king H3289 had taken counsel, H8269 and his princes, H3605 and all H6951 the congregation H3389 in Jerusalem, H6213 to keep H6453 the passover H8145 in the second H2320 month.

3 H3201 For they could H6213 not keep H6256 it at that time, H3588 because H3548 the priests H6942 had not sanctified H4078 themselves sufficiently, H3808 neither H5971 had the people H622 gathered H3389 themselves together to Jerusalem.

4 H1697 And the thing H3477 pleased H5869 H4428 the king H3605 and all H6951 the congregation.

5 H5975 So they established H1697 a decree H5674 to make proclamation H6963 H3605 throughout all H3478 Israel, H884 from Beersheba H1835 even to Dan, H935 that they should come H6213 to keep H6453 the passover H3068 to the LORD H430 God H3478 of Israel H3389 at Jerusalem: H6213 for they had not done H7230 it of a long H3789 time in such sort as it was written.

6 H7323 So the posts H3212 went H107 with the letters H4428 from the king H8269 and his princes H3605 throughout all H3478 Israel H3063 and Judah, H4687 and according to the commandment H4428 of the king, H559 saying, H1121 You children H3478 of Israel, H7725 turn H7725 again H3068 to the LORD H430 God H85 of Abraham, H3327 Isaac, H3478 and Israel, H7725 and he will return H7604 to the remnant H6413 of you, that are escaped H3709 out of the hand H4428 of the kings H804 of Assyria.

7 H1 And be not you like your fathers, H251 and like your brothers, H834 which H4603 trespassed H3068 against the LORD H430 God H1 of their fathers, H5414 who therefore gave H8047 them up to desolation, H7200 as you see.

8 H6258 Now H7185 be you not stiff necked, H6203 H1 as your fathers H5414 were, but yield H3027 H3027 yourselves H3068 to the LORD, H935 and enter H4720 into his sanctuary, H834 which H6942 he has sanctified H5769 for ever: H5647 and serve H3068 the LORD H430 your God, H2740 that the fierceness H639 of his wrath H7725 may turn away from you.

9 H7725 For if you turn H7725 again H3068 to the LORD, H251 your brothers H1121 and your children H7356 shall find compassion H6440 before H7617 them that lead them captive, H7725 so that they shall come H7725 again H2063 into this H776 land: H3068 for the LORD H430 your God H2587 is gracious H7349 and merciful, H5493 and will not turn H6440 away his face H518 from you, if H7725 you return to him.

10 H7323 So the posts H5674 passed H5892 from city H5892 to city H776 through the country H669 of Ephraim H4519 and Manasseh H2074 even to Zebulun: H7832 but they laughed H3932 them to scorn, and mocked them.

11 H389 Nevertheless H582 divers H836 of Asher H4519 and Manasseh H2074 and of Zebulun H3665 humbled H935 themselves, and came H3389 to Jerusalem.

12 H1571 Also H3063 in Judah H3027 the hand H430 of God H5414 was to give H259 them one H3820 heart H6213 to do H4687 the commandment H4428 of the king H8269 and of the princes, H1697 by the word H3068 of the LORD.

13 H622 And there assembled H3389 at Jerusalem H7227 much H5971 people H6213 to keep H2282 the feast H4682 of unleavened H8145 bread in the second H2320 month, H3966 a very H7230 great H6951 congregation.

14 H6965 And they arose H5493 and took away H4196 the altars H3389 that were in Jerusalem, H3605 and all H6999 the altars for incense H5493 took they away, H7993 and cast H5158 them into the brook H6939 Kidron.

15 H7819 Then they killed H6453 the passover H702 on the fourteenth H6240 H8145 day of the second H2320 month: H3548 and the priests H3881 and the Levites H3637 were ashamed, H6942 and sanctified H935 themselves, and brought H5930 in the burnt H1004 offerings into the house H3068 of the LORD.

16 H5975 And they stood H5977 in their place H4941 after their manner, H8451 according to the law H4872 of Moses H376 the man H430 of God: H3548 the priests H2236 sprinkled H1818 the blood, H3027 which they received of the hand H3881 of the Levites.

17 H7227 For there were many H6951 in the congregation H6942 that were not sanctified: H3881 therefore the Levites H5921 had the charge H7821 of the killing H6453 of the passovers H3605 for every H2889 one that was not clean, H6942 to sanctify H3068 them to the LORD.

18 H4768 For a multitude H5971 of the people, H7227 even many H669 of Ephraim, H4519 and Manasseh, H3485 Issachar, H2074 and Zebulun, H2891 had not cleansed H3588 themselves, yet H398 did they eat H6453 the passover H3808 otherwise H3789 than it was written. H2396 But Hezekiah H6419 prayed H559 for them, saying, H2896 The good H3068 LORD H3722 pardon H3605 every one

19 H3559 That prepares H3824 his heart H1875 to seek H430 God, H3068 the LORD H430 God H1 of his fathers, H2893 though he be not cleansed according to the purification H6944 of the sanctuary.

20 H3068 And the LORD H8085 listened H2396 to Hezekiah, H7495 and healed H5971 the people.

21 H1121 And the children H3478 of Israel H4672 that were present H3389 at Jerusalem H6213 kept H2282 the feast H4682 of unleavened H7651 bread seven H3117 days H1419 with great H8057 gladness: H3881 and the Levites H3548 and the priests H1984 praised H3068 the LORD H3117 day H3117 by day, H5797 singing with loud H3627 instruments H3068 to the LORD.

22 H2396 And Hezekiah H1696 spoke H5921 comfortably H3820 H3605 to all H3881 the Levites H7919 that taught H2896 the good H7922 knowledge H3068 of the LORD: H398 and they did eat H4150 throughout the feast H7651 seven H3117 days, H2076 offering H8002 peace H2077 offerings, H3034 and making confession H3068 to the LORD H430 God H1 of their fathers.

23 H3605 And the whole H6951 assembly H3289 took counsel H6213 to keep H312 other H7651 seven H3117 days: H6213 and they kept H7651 other seven H3117 days H8057 with gladness.

24 H2396 For Hezekiah H4428 king H3063 of Judah H7311 did give H6951 to the congregation H505 a thousand H6499 bullocks H7651 and seven H505 thousand H6629 sheep; H8269 and the princes H7311 gave H6951 to the congregation H505 a thousand H6499 bullocks H6235 and ten H505 thousand H6629 sheep: H7230 and a great H3548 number of priests H6942 sanctified themselves.

25 H3605 And all H6951 the congregation H3063 of Judah, H3548 with the priests H3881 and the Levites, H3605 and all H6951 the congregation H935 that came H3478 out of Israel, H1616 and the strangers H935 that came H776 out of the land H3478 of Israel, H3427 and that dwelled H3063 in Judah, H8055 rejoiced.

26 H1419 So there was great H8057 joy H3389 in Jerusalem: H3117 for since the time H8010 of Solomon H1121 the son H1732 of David H4428 king H3478 of Israel H2063 there was not the like H3389 in Jerusalem.

27 H3548 Then the priests H3881 the Levites H6965 arose H1288 and blessed H5971 the people: H6963 and their voice H8085 was heard, H8605 and their prayer H935 came H6944 up to his holy H4583 dwelling H8064 place, even to heaven.
