Ezekiel 5 And you, son of man, take a sharp knife, take a barber's razor, and cause it to pass upon your head and upon your beard: then take balances to weigh, and divide the hair.

2 H1197 You shall burn H217 with fire H7992 a third part H8432 in the midst H5892 of the city, H3117 when the days H4692 of the siege H4390 are fulfilled: H3947 and you shall take H7992 a third part, H5221 and strike H5439 about H2719 it with a knife: H7992 and a third part H2219 you shall scatter H7307 in the wind; H7324 and I will draw out H2719 a sword H310 after them.

3 H3947 You shall also take H4592 there a few H4557 in number, H6696 and bind H3671 them in your skirts.

4 H3947 Then take of them again, H7993 and cast H8432 them into the midst H784 of the fire, H8313 and burn H784 them in the fire; H784 for there shall a fire H3318 come forth H1004 into all the house H3478 of Israel.

5 H559 Thus says H136 the Lord H3069 God; H3389 This is Jerusalem: H7760 I have set H8432 it in the midst H1471 of the nations H776 and countries H5439 that are round about her.

7 H559 Therefore thus says H136 the Lord H3069 God; H1995 Because you multiplied H1471 more than the nations H5439 that are round about H1980 you, and have not walked H2708 in my statutes, H6213 neither have kept H4941 my judgments, H6213 neither have done H4941 according to the judgments H1471 of the nations H5439 that are round about you;

8 H559 Therefore thus says H136 the Lord H3069 God; H6213 Behold, I, even I, am against you, and will execute H4941 judgments H8432 in the midst H5869 of you in the sight H1471 of the nations.

9 H6213 And I will do H6213 in you that which I have not done, H6213 and unto what I will not do H3282 any more the like, because H8441 of all your abominations.

10 H1 Therefore the fathers H398 shall eat H1121 the sons H8432 in the midst H1121 of you, and the sons H398 shall eat H1 their fathers; H6213 and I will execute H8201 judgments H7611 in you, and the whole remnant H2219 of you will I scatter H7307 into all the winds.

11 H2416 Therefore, as I live, H5002 says H136 the Lord H3069 God; H2930 Surely, because you have defiled H4720 my sanctuary H8251 with all your detestable things, H8441 and with all your abominations, H1639 therefore will I also diminish H5869 you; neither shall my eye H2347 spare, H2550 neither will I have any pity.

12 H7992 A third part H4191 of you shall die H1698 with the pestilence, H7458 and with famine H3615 shall they be consumed H8432 in the midst H7992 of you: and a third part H5307 shall fall H2719 by the sword H5439 round about H2219 you; and I will scatter H7992 a third part H7307 into all the winds, H7324 and I will draw out H2719 a sword H310 after them.

13 H639 Thus shall my anger H3615 be accomplished, H2534 and I will cause my fury H5117 to rest H5162 upon them, and I will be comforted: H3045 and they shall know H3068 that I the Lord H1696 have spoken H7068 it in my zeal, H3615 when I have accomplished H2534 my fury in them.

14 H5414 Moreover I will make H2723 you waste, H2781 and a reproach H1471 among the nations H5439 that are round about H5869 you, in the sight H5674 of all that pass by.

15 H2781 So it shall be a reproach H1422 and a taunt, H4148 a instruction H4923 and a astonishment H1471 unto the nations H5439 that are round about H6213 you, when I shall execute H8201 judgments H639 in you in anger H2534 and in fury H2534 and in furious H8433 rebukes. 16 H7971 When I shall send H7451 upon them the evil H2671 arrows H7458 of famine, H4889 which shall be for their destruction, H7971 and which I will send H7843 to destroy H3254 you: and I will increase H7458 the famine H7665 upon you, and will break H4294 your staff H3899 of bread:

17 H7971 So will I send H7458 upon you famine H7451 and evil H2416 animals, H7921 and they shall bereave H1698 you; and pestilence H1818 and blood H5674 shall pass through H935 you; and I will bring H2719 the sword H3068 upon you. I the Lord H1696 have spoken it.
