Ezekiel 5 ואתה And thou, בן son אדם of man, קח take לך חרב knife, חדה thee a sharp תער razor, הגלבים thee a barber's תקחנה take לך והעברת and cause to pass על upon ראשׁך thine head ועל and upon זקנך thy beard: ולקחת then take לך מאזני thee balances משׁקל to weigh, וחלקתם׃ and divide

2 H7992 שׁלשׁית a third part H217 באור with fire H1197 תבעיר Thou shalt burn H8432 בתוך in the midst H5892 העיר of the city, H4390 כמלאת are fulfilled: H3117 ימי when the days H4692 המצור of the siege H3947 ולקחת and thou shalt take H853 את H7992 השׁלשׁית a third part, H5221 תכה smite H2719 בחרב it with a knife: H5439 סביבותיה about H7992 והשׁלשׁית and a third part H2219 תזרה thou shalt scatter H7307 לרוח in the wind; H2719 וחרב a sword H7324 אריק and I will draw out H310 אחריהם׃ after

3 H3947 ולקחת Thou shalt also take H8033 משׁם thereof H4592 מעט a few H4557 במספר in number, H6696 וצרת and bind H853 אותם H3671 בכנפיך׃ them in thy skirts.

4 H1992 ומהם H5750 עוד them again, H3947 תקח Then take H7993 והשׁלכת and cast H853 אותם H413 אל them into H8432 תוך the midst H784 האשׁ of the fire, H8313 ושׂרפת and burn H853 אתם H784 באשׁ them in the fire; H4480 ממנו of H3318 תצא come forth H784 אשׁ shall a fire H413 אל into H3605 כל all H1004 בית the house H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.

5 H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H136 אדני the Lord H3069 יהוה GOD; H2063 זאת This H3389 ירושׁלם Jerusalem: H8432 בתוך it in the midst H1471 הגוים of the nations H7760 שׂמתיה I have set H5439 וסביבותיה round about H776 ארצות׃ and countries

6 H4784 ותמר And she hath changed H853 את H4941 משׁפטי my judgments H7564 לרשׁעה into wickedness H4480 מן more than H1471 הגוים the nations, H853 ואת H2708 חקותי and my statutes H4480 מן more than H776 הארצות the countries H834 אשׁר that H5439 סביבותיה round about H3588 כי her: for H4941 במשׁפטי my judgments H3988 מאסו they have refused H2708 וחקותי and my statutes, H3808 לא they have not H1980 הלכו׃ walked

7 H3651 לכן Therefore H3541 כה thus H559 אמר saith H136 אדני the Lord H3068 יהוה H3282 יען Because H1995 המנכם ye multiplied H4480 מן more than H1471 הגוים the nations H834 אשׁר that H5439 סביבותיכם round about H2708 בחקותי in my statutes, H3808 לא you, have not H1980 הלכתם walked H853 ואת H4941 משׁפטי my judgments, H3808 לא neither H6213 עשׂיתם have kept H4941 וכמשׁפטי according to the judgments H1471 הגוים of the nations H834 אשׁר that H5439 סביבותיכם round about H3808 לא neither H6213 עשׂיתם׃ have done

8 H3651 לכן Therefore H3541 כה thus H559 אמר saith H136 אדני the Lord H3069 יהוה GOD; H2005 הנני H5921 עליך against H1571 גם I, even H589 אני I, H6213 ועשׂיתי thee, and will execute H8432 בתוכך in the midst H4941 משׁפטים judgments H5869 לעיני of thee in the sight H1471 הגוים׃ of the nations.

9 H6213 ועשׂיתי And I will do H853 בך את H834 אשׁר in thee that which H3808 לא I have not H6213 עשׂיתי done, H853 ואת H834 אשׁר and whereunto H3808 לא I will not H6213 אעשׂה do H3644 כמהו the like, H5750 עוד any more H3282 יען because of H3605 כל all H8441 תועבתיך׃ thine abominations.

10 H3651 לכן Therefore H1 אבות the fathers H398 יאכלו shall eat H1121 בנים the sons H8432 בתוכך in the midst H1121 ובנים of thee, and the sons H398 יאכלו shall eat H1 אבותם their fathers; H6213 ועשׂיתי and I will execute H8201 בך שׁפטים judgments H2219 וזריתי of thee will I scatter H853 את H3605 כל in thee, and the whole H7611 שׁאריתך remnant H3605 לכל into all H7307 רוח׃ the winds.

11 H3651 לכן Wherefore, H2416 חי live, H589 אני I H5002 נאם saith H136 אדני the Lord H3069 יהוה GOD; H518 אם H3808 לא neither H3282 יען because H853 את H4720 מקדשׁי my sanctuary H2930 טמאת thou hast defiled H3605 בכל with all H8251 שׁקוציך thy detestable things, H3605 ובכל and with all H8441 תועבתיך thine abominations, H1571 וגם therefore H589 אני will I H1639 אגרע also diminish H3808 ולא neither H2347 תחוס spare, H5869 עיני shall mine eye H1571 וגם H589 אני will I H3808 לא H2550 אחמול׃ have any pity.

12 H7992 שׁלשׁתיך A third part H1698 בדבר with the pestilence, H4191 ימותו of thee shall die H7458 וברעב and with famine H3615 יכלו shall they be consumed H8432 בתוכך in the midst H7992 והשׁלשׁית of thee: and a third part H2719 בחרב by the sword H5307 יפלו shall fall H5439 סביבותיך round about H7992 והשׁלישׁית a third part H3605 לכל into all H7307 רוח the winds, H2219 אזרה thee; and I will scatter H2719 וחרב a sword H7324 אריק and I will draw out H310 אחריהם׃ after

13 H3615 וכלה be accomplished, H639 אפי Thus shall mine anger H5117 והנחותי to rest H2534 חמתי and I will cause my fury H5162 בם והנחמתי upon them, and I will be comforted: H3045 וידעו and they shall know H3588 כי that H589 אני I H3068 יהוה the LORD H1696 דברתי have spoken H7068 בקנאתי in my zeal, H3615 בכלותי when I have accomplished H2534 חמתי׃ my fury

14 H5414 ואתנך Moreover I will make H2723 לחרבה thee waste, H2781 ולחרפה and a reproach H1471 בגוים among the nations H834 אשׁר that H5439 סביבותיך round about H5869 לעיני thee, in the sight H3605 כל of all H5674 עובר׃ that pass by.

15 H1961 והיתה So it shall be H2781 חרפה a reproach H1422 וגדופה and a taunt, H4148 מוסר an instruction H4923 ומשׁמה and an astonishment H1471 לגוים unto the nations H834 אשׁר that H5439 סביבותיך round about H6213 בעשׂותי thee, when I shall execute H8201 בך שׁפטים judgments H639 באף in thee in anger H2534 ובחמה and in fury H8433 ובתכחות rebukes. H2534 חמה and in furious H589 אני I H3068 יהוה the LORD H1696 דברתי׃ have spoken

16 H7971 בשׁלחי When I shall send H853 את H2671 חצי arrows H7458 הרעב of famine, H7451 הרעים upon them the evil H834 בהם אשׁר which H1961 היו shall be H4889 למשׁחית for destruction, H834 אשׁר which H7971 אשׁלח H853 אותם H7843 לשׁחתכם to destroy H7458 ורעב the famine H3254 אסף you: and I will increase H5921 עליכם upon H7665 ושׁברתי you, and will break H4294 לכם מטה your staff H3899 לחם׃ of bread:

17 H7971 ושׁלחתי So will I send H5921 עליכם upon H7458 רעב you famine H2416 וחיה beasts, H7451 רעה and evil H7921 ושׁכלך and they shall bereave H1698 ודבר thee; and pestilence H1818 ודם and blood H5674 יעבר shall pass H2719 בך וחרב the sword H935 אביא through thee; and I will bring H5921 עליך upon H589 אני thee. I H3068 יהוה the LORD H1696 דברתי׃ have spoken
