  15 H175 And when Aaron H1121 and his sons H3615 have made an end H3680 of covering H6944 the sanctuary, H3627 and all the vessels H6944 of the sanctuary, H4264 as the camp H5265 is to set forward; H310 after H1121 that, the sons H6955 of Kohath H935 shall come H5375 to carry H5060 it: but they shall not touch H6944 any holy thing, H4191 lest they die. H4853 These things are the burden H1121 of the sons H6955 of Kohath H168 in the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation.
  16 H6486 And to the office H499 of Eleazar H1121 the son H175 of Aaron H3548 the priest H8081 pertains the oil H3974 for the light, H5561 and the sweet H7004 incense, H8548 and the daily H4503 food offering, H4888 and the anointing H8081 oil, H6486 and the oversight H4908 of all the tabernacle, H6944 and of all that in it is, in the sanctuary, H3627 and in the vessels there.
  17 H3068 And the Lord H1696 spoke H4872 unto Moses H175 and unto Aaron, H559 saying,
  18 H3772 Cut you not off H7626 the tribe H4940 of the families H6956 of the Kohathites H8432 from among H3881 the Levites:
  19 H6213 But thus do H2421 unto them, that they may live, H4191 and not die, H5066 when they approach H6944 unto the most H6944 holy things: H175 Aaron H1121 and his sons H935 shall go in, H7760 and appoint H376 them every H376 one H5656 to his service H4853 and to his burden:
  20 H935 But they shall not go in H7200 to see H6944 when the holy things H1104 are covered, H4191 lest they die.
  21 H3068 And the Lord H1696 spoke H4872 unto Moses, H559 saying,
  22 H5375 Take H7218 also the sum H1121 of the sons H1648 of Gershon, H1004 throughout the houses H1 of their fathers, H4940 by their families;
  23 H7970 From thirty H8141 years H1121 old H4605 and upward H2572 until fifty H8141 years H1121 old H6485 shall you number H935 them; all that enter in H6633 to perform H6635 the service, H5647 to do H5656 the work H168 in the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation.
  24 H5656 This is the service H4940 of the families H1649 of the Gershonites, H5647 to serve, H4853 and for burdens:
  25 H5375 And they shall carry H3407 the curtains H4908 of the tabernacle, H168 and the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation, H4372 his covering, H4372 and the covering H8476 of the badgers' H4605 skins that is above H4539 upon it, and the hanging H6607 for the door H168 of the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation,
  26 H7050 And the hangings H2691 of the court, H4539 and the hanging H6607 for the door H8179 of the gate H2691 of the court, H4908 which is by the tabernacle H4196 and by the altar H5439 round about, H4340 and their cords, H3627 and all the instruments H5656 of their service, H6213 and all that is made H5647 for them: so shall they serve.
  27 H6310 At the appointment H175 of Aaron H1121 and his sons H5656 shall be all the service H1121 of the sons H1649 of the Gershonites, H4853 in all their burdens, H5656 and in all their service: H6485 and you shall appoint H4931 unto them in charge H4853 all their burdens.
  28 H5656 This is the service H4940 of the families H1121 of the sons H1649 of Gershon H168 in the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation: H4931 and their charge H3027 shall be under the hand H385 of Ithamar H1121 the son H175 of Aaron H3548 the priest.
  29 H1121 As for the sons H4847 of Merari, H6485 you shall number H4940 them after their families, H1004 by the house H1 of their fathers;
  30 H7970 From thirty H8141 years H1121 old H4605 and upward H2572 even unto fifty H8141 years H1121 old H6485 shall you number H935 them, every one that enters H6635 into the service, H5647 to do H5656 the work H168 of the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation.
  31 H4931 And this is the charge H4853 of their burden, H5656 according to all their service H168 in the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation; H7175 the boards H4908 of the tabernacle, H1280 and the bars H5982 there, and the pillars H134 there, and sockets there,
  32 H5982 And the pillars H2691 of the court H5439 round about, H134 and their sockets, H3489 and their pins, H4340 and their cords, H3627 with all their instruments, H5656 and with all their service: H8034 and by name H6485 you shall reckon H3627 the instruments H4931 of the charge H4853 of their burden.
  33 H5656 This is the service H4940 of the families H1121 of the sons H4847 of Merari, H5656 according to all their service, H168 in the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation, H3027 under the hand H385 of Ithamar H1121 the son H175 of Aaron H3548 the priest.
  34 H4872 And Moses H175 and Aaron H5387 and the chief H5712 of the congregation H6485 numbered H1121 the sons H6956 of the Kohathites H4940 after their families, H1004 and after the house H1 of their fathers,
  35 H7970 From thirty H8141 years H1121 old H4605 and upward H2572 even unto fifty H8141 years H1121 old, H935 every one that enters H6635 into the service, H5656 for the work H168 in the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation:
  36 H6485 And those that were numbered H4940 of them by their families H505 were two thousand H7651 seven H3967 hundred H2572 and fifty.
  37 H6485 These were they that were numbered H4940 of the families H6956 of the Kohathites, H5647 all that might do service H168 in the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation, H4872 which Moses H175 and Aaron H6485 did number H6310 according to the commandment H3068 of the Lord H3027 by the hand H4872 of Moses.
  38 H6485 And those that were numbered H1121 of the sons H1648 of Gershon, H4940 throughout their families, H1004 and by the house H1 of their fathers,
  39 H7970 From thirty H8141 years H1121 old H4605 and upward H2572 even unto fifty H8141 years H1121 old, H935 every one that enters H6635 into the service, H5656 for the work H168 in the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation,
  40 H6485 Even those that were numbered H4940 of them, throughout their families, H1004 by the house H1 of their fathers, H505 were two thousand H8337 and six H3967 hundred H7970 and thirty.
  41 H6485 These are they that were numbered H4940 of the families H1121 of the sons H1648 of Gershon, H5647 of all that might do service H168 in the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation, H4872 whom Moses H175 and Aaron H6485 did number H6310 according to the commandment H3068 of the Lord.
  42 H6485 And those that were numbered H4940 of the families H1121 of the sons H4847 of Merari, H4940 throughout their families, H1004 by the house H1 of their fathers,
  43 H7970 From thirty H8141 years H1121 old H4605 and upward H2572 even unto fifty H8141 years H1121 old, H935 every one that enters H6635 into the service, H5656 for the work H168 in the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation,
  44 H6485 Even those that were numbered H4940 of them after their families, H7969 were three H505 thousand H3967 and two hundred.
  45 H6485 These be those that were numbered H4940 of the families H1121 of the sons H4847 of Merari, H4872 whom Moses H175 and Aaron H6485 numbered H6310 according to the word H3068 of the Lord H3027 by the hand H4872 of Moses.
  46 H6485 All those that were numbered H3881 of the Levites, H4872 whom Moses H175 and Aaron H5387 and the chief H3478 of Israel H6485 numbered, H4940 after their families, H1004 and after the house H1 of their fathers,
  47 H7970 From thirty H8141 years H1121 old H4605 and upward H2572 even unto fifty H8141 years H1121 old, H935 every one that came H5647 to do H5656 the service of the ministry, H5656 and the service H4853 of the burden H168 in the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation,
  48 H6485 Even those that were numbered H8083 of them, were eight H505 thousand H2568 and five H3967 hundred H8084 and eighty.
  49 H6310 According to the commandment H3068 of the Lord H6485 they were numbered H3027 by the hand H4872 of Moses, H376 every H376 one H5656 according to his service, H4853 and according to his burden: H6485 thus were they numbered H3068 of him, as the Lord H6680 commanded H4872 Moses.
