1 Chronicles 21:16-17 וישׂא lifted up דויד And David את עיניו his eyes, וירא and saw את מלאך the angel יהוה of the LORD עמד stand בין between הארץ the earth ובין השׁמים and the heaven, וחרבו sword שׁלופה having a drawn בידו in his hand נטויה stretched out על over ירושׁלם Jerusalem. ויפל fell דויד Then David והזקנים and the elders מכסים clothed בשׂקים in sackcloth, על upon פניהם׃ their faces.

H5971 בעם the people H589 ואני even I H1931 הוא it H834 אשׁר is that H2398 חטאתי have sinned H7489 והרע and done evil indeed; H7489 הרעותי and done evil indeed; H428 ואלה but these H6629 הצאן sheep, H4100 מה what H6213 עשׂו have they done? H3068 יהוה O LORD H430 אלהי my God, H1961 תהי be H4994 נא I pray thee, H3027 ידך let thine hand, H1004 בי ובבית house; H1 אבי on me, and on my father's H5971 ובעמך on thy people, H3808 לא but not H4046 למגפה׃ that they should be plagued.
