1 Chronicles 20 ויהי And it came to pass, לעת that after תשׁובת was expired, השׁנה the year לעת at the time צאת go out המלכים that kings וינהג led forth יואב Joab את חיל הצבא of the army, וישׁחת and wasted את ארץ the country בני of the children עמון of Ammon, ויבא and came ויצר and besieged את רבה Rabbah. ודויד But David ישׁב tarried בירושׁלם at Jerusalem. ויך smote יואב And Joab את רבה Rabbah, ויהרסה׃ and destroyed

2 H3947 ויקח took H1732 דויד And David H853 את H5850 עטרת the crown H4428 מלכם of their king H5921 מעל from off H7218 ראשׁו his head, H4672 וימצאה and found H4948 משׁקל it to weigh H3603 ככר a talent H2091 זהב of gold, H68 ובה אבן stones H3368 יקרה and precious H1961 ותהי in it; and it was set H5921 על upon H7218 ראשׁ head: H1732 דויד David's H7998 ושׁלל H5892 העיר of the city. H3318 הוציא and he brought also exceeding much spoil out H7235 הרבה H3966 מאד׃

3 H853 ואת H5971 העם the people H834 אשׁר that H3318 בה הוציא And he brought out H7787 וישׂר in it, and cut H4050 במגרה with saws, H2757 ובחריצי and with harrows H1270 הברזל of iron, H4050 ובמגרות and with axes. H7725 וישׁב returned H1732 דויד And David H3605 וכל and all H5971 העם the people H3389 ירושׁלם׃ to Jerusalem.
