Deuteronomy 1:19-25 ונסע And when we departed מחרב ונלך we went through את כל all המדבר wilderness, הגדול great והנורא and terrible ההוא that אשׁר which ראיתם ye saw דרך by the way הר of the mountain האמרי of the Amorites, כאשׁר as צוה commanded יהוה the LORD אלהינו our God אתנו ונבא us; and we came עד to קדשׁ ברנע׃ Kadesh-barnea.

20 H559 ואמר And I said H413 אלכם unto H935 באתם you, Ye are come H5704 עד unto H2022 הר the mountain H567 האמרי of the Amorites, H834 אשׁר which H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהינו our God H5414 נתן׃ doth give

21 H7200 ראה Behold, H5414 נתן hath set H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H6440 לפניך before H853 את H776 הארץ the land H5927 עלה thee: go up H3423 רשׁ possess H834 כאשׁר as H1696 דבר hath said H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהי God H1 אבתיך of thy fathers H408 לך אל not, H3372 תירא unto thee; fear H408 ואל neither H2865 תחת׃ be discouraged.

22 H7126 ותקרבון And ye came near H413 אלי unto H3605 כלכם me every one H559 ותאמרו of you, and said, H7971 נשׁלחה We will send H376 אנשׁים men H6440 לפנינו before H2658 ויחפרו us, and they shall search us out H853 לנו את H776 הארץ the land, H7725 וישׁבו and bring H853 אתנו H1697 דבר us word H853 את H1870 הדרך way H834 אשׁר again by what H5927 נעלה we must go up, H853 בה ואת H5892 הערים cities H834 אשׁר what H935 נבא we shall come. 23 H3190 וייטב pleased me well: H5869 בעיני pleased me well: H1697 הדבר And the saying H3947 ואקח and I took H4480 מכם of H8147 שׁנים twelve H6240 עשׂר twelve H582 אנשׁים H376 אישׁ men H259 אחד you, one H7626 לשׁבט׃ of a tribe:

24 H6437 ויפנו And they turned H5927 ויעלו and went up H2022 ההרה into the mountain, H935 ויבאו and came H5704 עד unto H5158 נחל the valley H812 אשׁכל of Eshcol, H7270 וירגלו H853 אתה׃

25 H3947 ויקחו And they took H3027 בידם in their hands, H6529 מפרי of the fruit H776 הארץ of the land H3381 ויורדו and brought down H413 אלינו unto H7725 וישׁבו us, and brought H853 אתנו H1697 דבר us word H559 ויאמרו again, and said, H2896 טובה a good H776 הארץ land H834 אשׁר which H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהינו our God H5414 נתן׃ doth give
