Ezekiel 21:9-16 בן Son אדם of man, הנבא prophesy, ואמרת and say, כה Thus אמר saith אדני the LORD; אמר Say, חרב A sword, חרב a sword הוחדה is sharpened, וגם and also מרוטה׃ furbished:

9 H1121 בן Son H120 אדם of man, H5012 הנבא prophesy, H559 ואמרת and say, H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H136 אדני the LORD; H559 אמר Say, H2719 חרב A sword, H2719 חרב a sword H2300 הוחדה is sharpened, H1571 וגם and also H4803 מרוטה׃ furbished:

10 H4616 למען to H2874 טבח make a sore slaughter; H2873 טבח make a sore slaughter; H2300 הוחדה It is sharpened H4616 למען that H1961 היה it may glitter: H1300 לה ברק it may glitter: H4803 מרטה it is furbished H176 או should we then H7797 נשׂישׂ make mirth? H7626 שׁבט the rod H1121 בני of my son, H3988 מאסת it contemneth H3605 כל every H6086 עץ׃ tree.

11 H5414 ויתן And he hath given H853 אתה H4803 למרטה it to be furbished, H8610 לתפשׂ that it may be handled: H3709 בכף that it may be handled: H1931 היא this H2300 הוחדה is sharpened, H2719 חרב sword H1931 והיא and it H4803 מרטה is furbished, H5414 לתת to give H853 אותה H3027 ביד it into the hand H2026 הורג׃ of the slayer.

12 H2199 זעק Cry H3213 והילל and howl, H1121 בן son H120 אדם of man: H3588 כי for H1931 היא it H1961 היתה shall be H5971 בעמי upon my people, H1931 היא it H3605 בכל upon all H5387 נשׂיאי the princes H3478 ישׂראל of Israel: H4048 מגורי terrors H413 אל by reason of H2719 חרב the sword H1961 היו shall be H854 את upon H5971 עמי my people: H3651 לכן therefore H5606 ספק smite H413 אל upon H3409 ירך׃ thigh.

13 H3588 כי Because H974 בחן a trial, H4100 ומה and what H518 אם if H1571 גם even H7626 שׁבט the rod? H3988 מאסת contemn H3808 לא no H1961 יהיה it shall be H5002 נאם saith H136 אדני the Lord H3069 יהוה׃ GOD.

14 H859 ואתה Thou H1121 בן therefore, son H120 אדם of man, H5012 הנבא prophesy, H5221 והך and smite hands together, H3709 כף H413 אל H3709 כף H3717 ותכפל be doubled H2719 חרב and let the sword H7992 שׁלישׁתה the third time, H2719 חרב the sword H2491 חללים of the slain: H1931 היא it H2719 חרב the sword H2491 חלל slain, H1419 הגדול of the great H2314 החדרת׃ which entereth into their privy chambers.

15 H4616 למען that H4127 למוג may faint, H3820 לב heart H7235 והרבה be multiplied: H4383 המכשׁלים and ruins H5921 על against H3605 כל all H8179 שׁעריהם their gates, H5414 נתתי I have set H19 אבחת the point H2719 חרב of the sword H253 אח ah! H6213 עשׂויה made bright, H1300 לברק made bright, H4593 מעטה wrapped up H2875 לטבח׃

16 H258 התאחדי Go thee one way or other, H3231 הימני on the right hand, H7760 השׂימי H8041 השׂמילי on the left, H575 אנה whithersoever H6440 פניך thy face H3259 מעדות׃ set.
