29 H5971 עם The people H776 הארץ of the land H6231 עשׁקו have used H6233 עשׁק oppression, H1497 וגזלו and exercised H1498 גזל robbery, H6041 ועני the poor H34 ואביון and needy: H3238 הונו and have vexed H853 ואת H1616 הגר the stranger H6231 עשׁקו yea, they have oppressed H3808 בלא wrongfully. H4941 משׁפט׃ wrongfully.

30 H1245 ואבקשׁ And I sought H1992 מהם H376 אישׁ for a man H1443 גדר them, that should make up H1447 גדר the hedge, H5975 ועמד and stand H6556 בפרץ in the gap H6440 לפני before H1157 בעד me for H776 הארץ the land, H1115 לבלתי that I should not H7843 שׁחתה destroy H3808 ולא none. 31 H8210 ואשׁפך Therefore have I poured out H5921 עליהם upon H2195 זעמי mine indignation H784 באשׁ them with the fire H5678 עברתי of my wrath: H3615 כליתים them; I have consumed H1870 דרכם their own way H7218 בראשׁם upon their heads, H5414 נתתי have I recompensed H5002 נאם saith H136 אדני the Lord H3069 יהוה׃ GOD.
