14 H559 ואמרו And they will tell H413 אל to H3427 יושׁב the inhabitants H776 הארץ land: H2063 הזאת of this H8085 שׁמעו they have heard H3588 כי that H859 אתה thou H3068 יהוה LORD H7130 בקרב among H5971 העם people, H2088 הזה this H834 אשׁר that H5869 עין face H5869 בעין to face, H7200 נראה art seen H859 אתה thou H3068 יהוה LORD H6051 ועננך and thy cloud H5975 עמד standeth H5921 עלהם over H5982 ובעמד in a pillar H6051 ענן of a cloud, H859 אתה them, and thou H1980 הלך goest H6440 לפניהם before H3119 יומם them, by day time H5982 ובעמוד and in a pillar H784 אשׁ of fire H3915 לילה׃ by night.

15 H4191 והמתה Now thou shalt kill H853 את H5971 העם people H2088 הזה this H376 כאישׁ man, H259 אחד as one H559 ואמרו of thee will speak, H1471 הגוים then the nations H834 אשׁר which H8085 שׁמעו have heard H853 את H8088 שׁמעך the fame H559 לאמר׃ saying,

16 H1115 מבלתי H3201 יכלת was not able H3068 יהוה the LORD H935 להביא to bring H853 את H5971 העם people H2088 הזה this H413 אל into H776 הארץ the land H834 אשׁר which H7650 נשׁבע he swore H7819 להם וישׁחטם unto them therefore he hath slain H4057 במדבר׃ them in the wilderness.

17 H6258 ועתה And now, H1431 יגדל be great, H4994 נא I beseech thee, H3581 כח let the power H136 אדני of my Lord H834 כאשׁר according as H1696 דברת thou hast spoken, H559 לאמר׃ saying,

18 H3068 יהוה The LORD H750 ארך longsuffering, H639 אפים longsuffering, H7227 ורב and of great H2617 חסד mercy, H5375 נשׂא forgiving H5771 עון iniquity H6588 ופשׁע and transgression, H5352 ונקה and by no means clearing H3808 לא H5352 ינקה H6485 פקד visiting H5771 עון the iniquity H1 אבות of the fathers H5921 על upon H1121 בנים the children H5921 על unto H8029 שׁלשׁים the third H5921 ועל H7256 רבעים׃ and fourth

19 H5545 סלח Pardon, H4994 נא I beseech thee, H5771 לעון the iniquity H5971 העם people H2088 הזה of this H1433 כגדל according unto the greatness H2617 חסדך of thy mercy, H834 וכאשׁר and as H5375 נשׂאתה thou hast forgiven H5971 לעם people, H2088 הזה this H4714 ממצרים H5704 ועד even until H2008 הנה׃ now.

20 H559 ויאמר said, H3068 יהוה And the LORD H5545 סלחתי I have pardoned H1697 כדברך׃ according to thy word:

21 H199 ואולם But truly H2416 חי live, H589 אני I H4390 וימלא shall be filled H3519 כבוד with the glory H3068 יהוה of the LORD. H853 את H3605 כל all H776 הארץ׃ the earth

22 H3588 כי Because H3605 כל all H582 האנשׁים H7200 הראים which have seen H853 את H3519 כבדי my glory, H853 ואת H226 אתתי and my miracles, H834 אשׁר which H6213 עשׂיתי I did H4714 במצרים in Egypt H4057 ובמדבר and in the wilderness, H5254 וינסו and have tempted H853 אתי H2088 זה me now these H6235 עשׂר ten H6471 פעמים times, H3808 ולא and have not H8085 שׁמעו hearkened H6963 בקולי׃ to my voice;

23 H518 אם Surely H7200 יראו they shall not see H853 את H776 הארץ the land H834 אשׁר which H7650 נשׁבעתי I swore H1 לאבתם unto their fathers, H3605 וכל shall any H5006 מנאצי of them that provoked H3808 לא neither H7200 יראוה׃ me see

24 H5650 ועבדי But my servant H3612 כלב Caleb, H6118 עקב because H1961 היתה he had H7307 רוח spirit H312 אחרת another H5973 עמו with H4390 וימלא him, and hath followed me fully, H310 אחרי him, and hath followed me fully, H935 והביאתיו him will I bring H413 אל into H776 הארץ the land H834 אשׁר whereinto H935 בא he went; H8033 שׁמה whereinto H2233 וזרעו and his seed H3423 יורשׁנה׃ shall possess
