Luke 20:10-18 And at the season he sent a servant to the husbandmen , that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard : but the husbandmen beat him , and sent him away empty.

12 G2532 And G4369 again [G5639] G3992 he sent [G5658] G5154 a third G1161 : and G5135 they wounded [G5660] G5126 him G2532 also G1544 , and cast him out [G5627] .

13 G1161 Then G2036 said [G5627] G2962 the lord G290 of the vineyard G5101 , What G4160 shall I do [G5661] G3992 ? I will send [G5692] G3450 my G27 beloved G5207 son G2481 : it may be G1788 they will reverence [G5691] G1492 him when they see [G5631] G5126 him.

14 G1161 But G1092 when the husbandmen G1492 saw [G5631] G846 him G1260 , they reasoned [G5711] G4314 among G1438 themselves G3004 , saying [G5723] G3778 , This G2076 is [G5748] G2818 the heir G1205 : come [G5773] G615 , let us kill [G5725] G846 him G2443 , that G2817 the inheritance G1096 may be [G5638] G2257 ours.

15 G2532 So G1544 they cast [G5631] G846 him G1854 out of G290 the vineyard G615 , and killed [G5656] G5101 him . What G3767 therefore G4160 shall G2962 the lord G290 of the vineyard G4160 do [G5692] G846 unto them?

16 G2064 He shall come [G5695] G2532 and G622 destroy [G5692] G5128 these G1092 husbandmen G2532 , and G1325 shall give [G5692] G290 the vineyard G243 to others G1161 . And G191 when they heard [G5660] G2036 it, they said [G5627] G3361 , God forbid G1096 [G5636] .

17 G1161 And G1689 he beheld [G5660] G846 them G2036 , and said [G5627] G5101 , What G2076 is [G5748] G5124 this G3767 then G1125 that is written [G5772] G3037 , The stone G3739 which G3618 the builders [G5723] G593 rejected [G5656] G3778 , the same G1096 is become [G5675] G2776 the head G1519 of G1137 the corner?

18 G3956 Whosoever G4098 shall fall [G5631] G1909 upon G1565 that G3037 stone G4917 shall be broken [G5701] G1161 ; but G1909 on G3739 whomsoever G302 G4098 it shall fall [G5632] G3039 , it will grind G846 him G3039 to powder [G5692] .

I will send my beloved son: it may be they will reverence him. ¹⁴ But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned one with another, saying, This is the heir: let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours. ¹⁵ And they cast him forth out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore will the lord of the vineyard do unto them? ¹⁶ He will come and destroy these husbandmen, and will give the vineyard unto others. And when they heard it, they said, God forbid. ¹⁷ But he looked upon them, and said, What then is this that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, The same was made the head of the corner? ¹⁸ Every one that falleth on that stone shall be broken to pieces; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will scatter him as dust.
