  11 G2532 And G4369 again [G5639]   G3992 he sent [G5658]   G2087 another G1401 servant G1161 : and G1194 they beat [G5660]   G2548 him also G2532 , and G818 entreated him shamefully [G5660]   G1821 , and sent him away [G5656]   G2756 empty.
  12 G2532 And G4369 again [G5639]   G3992 he sent [G5658]   G5154 a third G1161 : and G5135 they wounded [G5660]   G5126 him G2532 also G1544 , and cast him out [G5627]  .
  13 G1161 Then G2036 said [G5627]   G2962 the lord G290 of the vineyard G5101 , What G4160 shall I do [G5661]   G3992 ? I will send [G5692]   G3450 my G27 beloved G5207 son G2481 : it may be G1788 they will reverence [G5691]   G1492 him when they see [G5631]   G5126 him.
  14 G1161 But G1092 when the husbandmen G1492 saw [G5631]   G846 him G1260 , they reasoned [G5711]   G4314 among G1438 themselves G3004 , saying [G5723]   G3778 , This G2076 is [G5748]   G2818 the heir G1205 : come [G5773]   G615 , let us kill [G5725]   G846 him G2443 , that G2817 the inheritance G1096 may be [G5638]   G2257 ours.
  15 G2532 So G1544 they cast [G5631]   G846 him G1854 out of G290 the vineyard G615 , and killed [G5656]   G5101 him . What G3767 therefore G4160 shall G2962 the lord G290 of the vineyard G4160 do [G5692]   G846 unto them?
  16 G2064 He shall come [G5695]   G2532 and G622 destroy [G5692]   G5128 these G1092 husbandmen G2532 , and G1325 shall give [G5692]   G290 the vineyard G243 to others G1161 . And G191 when they heard [G5660]   G2036 it, they said [G5627]   G3361 , God forbid G1096   [G5636]  .
  17 G1161 And G1689 he beheld [G5660]   G846 them G2036 , and said [G5627]   G5101 , What G2076 is [G5748]   G5124 this G3767 then G1125 that is written [G5772]   G3037 , The stone G3739 which G3618 the builders [G5723]   G593 rejected [G5656]   G3778 , the same G1096 is become [G5675]   G2776 the head G1519 of G1137 the corner?
  18 G3956 Whosoever G4098 shall fall [G5631]   G1909 upon G1565 that G3037 stone G4917 shall be broken [G5701]   G1161 ; but G1909 on G3739 whomsoever G302   G4098 it shall fall [G5632]   G3039 , it will grind G846 him G3039 to powder [G5692]  .

I will send my beloved son: perhaps his presence will engage their respect. 14 but when the husbandmen saw him, they said to one another, this is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be our own. 15 so they kill'd him, and threw him out of the vineyard. what punishment now will the master inflict upon them? 16 he will come and destroy these husbandmen, and give his vineyard to others. but they, taking the hint, cried out, God forbid. 17 then Jesus looking upon them, said, what is the meaning then of that expression, "the stone, which the builders rejected, is become the chief stone of the angle." 18 whoever falls upon that stone shall be bruised, but on whom it falls, it will crush him to pieces.
Whiston(i) 10 Now at the season, he sent a servant to the husbandmen, that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard: but they beat him, and sent [him] away empty. 11 And He sent another servant; and they beat him also, and treated [him] shamefully, and sent [him] away empty. 12 And He sent a third; They wounded him also, and cast [him] out. 13 But the Lord of the vineyard, said, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son: it may be they will reverence him. 14 But when they saw him, they reasoned one with another, saying, This is the heir: come let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours. 15 So they cast him out of the vineyard, and killed [him]. What therefore shall the Lord of the vineyard do? 16 He shall come and destroy the husbandmen, and shall give the vineyard to others. But when they heard it, they said, may it not be so. 17 And he looked upon them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner? 18 Whosoever shall fall upon that stone, shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him.

I will send my beloved son; perhaps seeing him they will reverence him. 14 But the husbandmen seeing him, reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir: Come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours. 15 So they cast him out of the vineyard and killed him. What therefore will the Lord of the vineyard do to them? 16 He will come and destroy these husbandmen, and give the vineyard to others. 17 And hearing it they said, God forbid. And he looked on them and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, this is become the head of the corner? 18 Whosoever shall fall on that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

I will send my beloved son: perhaps when they see Him they will reverence Him. 14 But when the husbandmen saw Him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir, come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours. 15 So they cast him out of the vineyard and killed him. What therefore will the lord of the vineyard do unto them? 16 He will come and destroy these husbandmen, and will give the vineyard to others. And when they heard this they said, God forbid. 17 And He looked upon them and said, What then is this, which is written, The stone which the builders refused, is become the head of the corner? 18 Whosoever falleth on that stone shall be bruised; but on whomsoever it falleth, it will crush him to pieces.
Haweis(i) 10 And at the season he sent to the husbandmen a servant, that they might give him of the fruit of the vineyard: but the husbandmen beat, and sent him away empty. 11 And he again sent another servant: and him also they beat, and treating him with indignity, sent him away empty. 12 And he sent yet a third: and him they also wounded, and cast out. 13 Then said the master of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son: probably when they see him, they will shew him respect. 14 But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be our own. 15 So casting him out of the vineyard, they slew him. What then will the master of the vineyard do with these men? 16 He will come and destroy these husbandmen, and give the vineyard to others. And when they heard it, they said God forbid. 17 Then he looked on them, and said, What is this then which is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner? 18 Every one who falleth upon this stone shall be broken to pieces; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

I will send my son, the Beloved. Perhaps they will reverence him, when they see him. 14 But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir. Come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be our own. 15 So having, cast him out of the vineyard they slew him. What then will the owner of the vineyard do to them? 16 He will come and destroy those husbandmen and give the vineyard to others. Upon hearing this, they said, God forbid. 17 But he looking earnestly at them, said, "What then is the meaning of this passage of scripture, The stone which the builders rejected was the very one for the head of the corner! 18 Whosoever falleth on this stone will be bruised; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

And when they heard it, they said, may that never be. 17 And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner? 18 Whoever shall fall upon that stone, shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

Living_Oracles(i) 10 The season being come, he sent a servant to the husbandmen, to receive of the produce of the vineyard; but they beat him, and sent him back empty. 11 Afterward, he sent another servant, whom they, having beaten, and used shamefully, also sent away empty. 12 He afterward dispatched a third to them. Him, likewise, they wounded and drove away. 13 Then the proprietor of the vineyard said, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son; they will surely reverence him, when they see him. 14 But when then husbandmen saw him, they reasoned thus among themselves, This is the heir, come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be our own. 15 And having thrust him out of the vineyard, they killed him. What, therefore, will the proprietor of the vineyard do to them? 16 He will come and destroy those husbandmen, and give the vineyard to others. And some of his hearers said, God forbid. 17 Jesus, looking on them, said, What, then, means that expression of scripture, "A stone which the builders rejected, is made the head of the corner. 18 Whosoever shall fall upon that stone, shall be bruised; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will crush him to pieces"?
Etheridge(i) 10 And at the season he sent his servant to the husbandmen that they should give him of the fruit of the vinery. I will send my son, the beloved; now will they see him and reverence him. 14 But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir: come, let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours. 15 And they cast him out of the vinery, and killed him. What therefore shall the lord of the vinery do to them? 16 He will come and destroy those husbandmen, and will give the vinery to others. But when they heard, they said, May this not be! 17 But he beheld them, and said, And what is that which is written, The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner?[The head corner of the angle.] 18 And every one who shall fall upon this stone shall be broken; and every one on whom it shall fall it will scatter him.

And they wounded him, and cast him out. 13 The lord of the vineyard said: What shall I do? I will send my dear son. Perhaps they will look upon him, and be ashamed. 14 But when the cultivators saw him, they reasoned with themselves, and said: This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours. 15 And they cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him. What therefore will the lord of the vineyard do to them? 16 He will come, and destroy those cultivators, and will lease the vineyard to others. What, therefore, will the lord of the vineyard do to them? 16 He will come and destroy those husbandmen, and let the vineyard to others. And hearing this, they said, By no means. 17 And he looked at them and said, What, then, is this which is written? Rotherham(i) 10 And, in due season, he sent unto the husbandmen, a servant, that, of the fruit of the vineyard, they might give him; but, the husbandmen, having beaten him, sent him away empty. 11 And he, further, sent another servant; but, they, beating, that one also, and dishonouring him, sent him away, empty. 12 And he, further, sent, a third; but, they, bruising, this one also, thrust him out. 13 And the lord of the vineyard said––What shall I do? I will send my son, the beloved,––It may be, that, him, they will respect. 14 But he husbandmen, seeing him, began to deliberate one with another, saying––This, is, the heir: Let us slay him, that, ours, may be, the inheritance. 15 And, thrusting him forth outside the vineyard, they slew him. What, then, will the lord of the vineyard do unto them? 16 He will come, and destroy these husbandmen, and give the vineyard unto others. But, when they heard it, they said––Far be it! 17 But, he, looking at them, said––What, then, is this that is written,––A stone which the builders’ rejected, The same, hath become, head of the corner? 18 Every one who falleth on that stone, will be sorely bruised, but, on whomsoever it shall fall, it will utterly destroy him.
Twentieth_Century(i) 10 At the proper time he sent a servant to the tenants, that they should give him a share of the produce of the vineyard. The tenants, however, beat him and sent him away empty-handed. 11 The owner afterwards sent another servant; but the tenants beat and insulted this man too, and sent him away empty-handed. 12 He sent a third; but they wounded this man also, and threw him outside. 13 'What shall I do?' said the owner of the vineyard. 'I will send my son, who is very dear to me. Perhaps they will respect him.' 14 But, on seeing him, the tenants consulted with one another. 'Here is the heir!' they said. 'Let us kill him, and then the inheritance will become ours.' 15 So they threw him outside the vineyard and killed him. Now what will the owner of the vineyard do to them? 16 He will come and put those tenants to death, and will let the vineyard to others." "Heaven forbid!" they exclaimed when they heard it. 17 But Jesus looked at them and said: "What then is the meaning of this passage?-- 'The very stone which the builders despised has now itself become the corner-stone.' 18 Every one who falls on that stone will be dashed to pieces, while any one on whom it falls--it will scatter him as dust."
Godbey(i) 10 And in season he sent a servant to the husbandmen that they might give to him of the fruit of the vineyard, and the husbandmen beating him, sent him away empty. 11 And he proceeded to send to them another servant, and they beating and dishonoring him sent him away empty. 12 And he proceeded to send a third: and wounding him, they cast him out also. 13 And the lord of the vineyard said, What shall I do? I will send my own beloved son: perchance seeing, they will reverence him. 14 And the husbandmen, seeing him, reasoned among themselves saying, This is the heir; let us kill him, in order that the inheritance may be ours. 15 And casting him out from the vineyard they slew him; what then will the lord of the vineyard do? 16 He will come and destroy those husbandmen, and will give the vineyard to others. And hearing, they said, Let it not be so. 17 And looking upon them, He said, What is that which has been written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same has come to be the head of the corner. 18 Every one having fallen on that stone will be dashed to pieces; and on whomsoever it may fall, it will grind him to powder.
WNT(i) 10 At vintage-time he sent a servant to the vine-dressers, for them to give him a share of the crop; but the vine-dressers beat him cruelly and sent him away empty-handed. 11 Then he sent a second servant; and him too they beat and ill treated and sent away empty-handed. 12 Then again he sent a third; and this one also they wounded and drove away. 13 Then the owner of the vineyard said, "'What am I to do? I will send my son--my dearly-loved son: they will probably respect him.' 14 "But when the vine-dressers saw him, they discussed the matter with one another, and said, "'This is the heir: let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.' 15 "So they turned him out of the vineyard and murdered him. What then will the owner of the vineyard do to them? 16 He will come and put these vine-dressers to death, and give the vineyard to others." "God forbid!" exclaimed the hearers. 17 He looked at them and said, "What then does that mean which is written, "'THE STONE WHICH THE BUILDERS REJECTED HAS BEEN MADE THE CORNERSTONE'? 18 Every one who falls on that stone will be severely hurt, but on whomsoever it falls, he will be utterly crushed."
Worrell(i) 10 And, at the season, he sent to the husbandmen a servant, that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard; but the husbandmen, beating him, sent him away empty. 11 "And he seat still another servant: and him also, having beaten and dishonored, they sent away empty. 12 "And he sent still a third; and they, having wounded this one, cast him out. 13 "And the lord of the vineyard said, 'What shall I do? Goodspeed(i) 10 And at the proper time he sent a slave to the tenants to have them give him a share of the vintage, but the tenants beat him, and sent him back empty-handed. 11 And again he sent another slave, and they beat him also and mistreated him and sent him back empty-handed. 12 And again he sent a third, but they wounded him too, and threw him outside. 13 Then the owner of the vineyard said, 'What can I do? I will send them my dear son; perhaps they will respect him.' 14 But when the tenants saw him, they argued with one another, 'This is his heir! Let us kill him, so that the property will belong to us!' 15 So they drove him out of the vineyard and killed him. Now what will the owner of the vineyard do to them? 16 He will come and put those tenants to death, and give the vineyard to others." I will send my beloved son; perhaps they will see him and feel ashamed. 14 But when the laborers saw him, they reasoned with themselves, saying, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours. 15 So they cast him out of the vineyard, and killed him. I will send my dearly loved son; they may give respect to him. 14 But when the workmen saw him, they said to one another, This is he who will one day be the owner of the property: let us put him to death and the heritage will be ours. 15 And driving him out of the garden they put him to death. Now what will the lord do to these workmen? 16 He will come and put them to destruction and give the garden to others. And when he said this, they said, May it not be so. 17 But he, looking on them, said, Is it not in the Writings, The stone which the builders put on one side, the same has become the chief stone of the building? 18 Everyone falling on that stone will be broken, but the man on whom the stone comes down will be crushed to dust.

WPNT(i) 10 At the proper time he sent a slave to the farmers, that they might give him some of the fruit of the vineyard. I will send my beloved son; hopefully they will respect him when they see him.’ 14 But when the farmers saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying: ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him, so that the inheritance may become ours.’ 15 So they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. What therefore will the owner of the vineyard do to them? 16 He will come and destroy those farmers and give the vineyard to others.” Having heard it they said, “May it never be!” 17 Then He looked directly at them and said: “What then is this that is written: ‘A stone that the builders rejected, the same became the cornerstone’? 18 Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces, but on whomever it should fall—it will crush him!”
JMNT(i) 10 "And then, in the appropriate season, he sent off a slave to the tenant-farmers (vine-dressers) with the purpose that they will proceed giving to him [his portion] from the fruit (or: crop) of the vineyard. But the tenants (vineyard workers; cultivators), after whipping (lashing) and beating [him] to the point or removing skin, sent him forth (or: out) and away empty-handed. 11 "So next, he put forth a different slave to send. Yet that one also, after lashing and beating [him] – as well as dishonoring [him] – they sent forth and away empty-handed. 12 "Then he put forth a third one to send – but, after wounding, injuring and traumatizing this one, they threw [him] out. 13 "So the owner (lord) of the vineyard said, 'What shall I do?... I will proceed sending my son, the beloved one (may signify: the only one). All things being equal, chances are they will proceed being turned within so as to be showing respect to this one.' 14 "Now upon seeing him, the tenant-farmers (vineyard cultivators) began reasoning and deliberating with one another, one after another saying, 'This one is the heir! We should (or: Let us) at once kill him off, so that the inheritance can (or: may) come to be ours!' 15 "And so, after throwing him outside the vineyard, they killed [him]. What, therefore, will the owner (lord) of the vineyard proceed doing to them?... 16 "He will proceed in coming and will be progressively destroying these tenant-farmers, and then he will be progressively giving the vineyard to other folks." Now upon hearing [this], they said, "May it not happen (or: come to that)!" 17 But He, looking intently at them (or: staring in their [faces]), said, "What, then, is the [meaning of] this having been written, 'A stone which the builders rejected – after examining it – has come to be [placed] into [the] head (= source) of [the] corner (or: ended up as the keystone)'? [Ps. 118:22] 18 "Every person falling upon that stone will be progressively crushed together and shattered, yet upon whom it may (or: should) fall, it will continue winnowing him [like grain]."
NSB(i) 10 »At harvest time he sent a servant to the renters to collect fruit of the vineyard. I will send my beloved son; perhaps they will respect him.’ 14 And having seen him, the farmers began reasoning among themselves, saying, ‘This is the heir; let us kill him, so that the inheritance might become ours.’ 15 And having cast him forth outside the vineyard, they killed him. What therefore will the master of the vineyard do to them? 16 He will come and will destroy these farmers, and will give the vineyard to others.” And having heard it, they said, “Never may it be!” 17 But having looked at them, He said, “What then is this that has been written: ‘The stone which those building rejected, this has become into the head of the corner’? 18 Everyone falling on that stone will be broken, but on whomever it might fall, it will grind him into powder.”
BSB(i) 10 At harvest time, he sent a servant to the tenants to collect his share of the fruit of the vineyard. Perhaps they will respect him.’ 14 But when the tenants saw the son, they discussed it among themselves and said, ‘This is the heir. Let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.’ 15 So they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. What then will the owner of the vineyard do to them? 16 He will come and kill those tenants, and will give the vineyard to others.” And when the people heard this, they said, “May such a thing never happen!” 17 But Jesus looked directly at them and said, “Then what is the meaning of that which is written: ‘The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone’? 18 Everyone who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces, but he on whom it falls will be crushed.”

MLV(i) 10 And in the harvest season, he sent a bondservant to the farmers, in order that they might give to him from the fruit of the vineyard, but the farmers whipped him and sent him away empty handed. 11 And he sent yet a different bondservant, and they also whipped and dishonored him, and sent him away empty. 12 And he sent yet a third, and they also traumatized him and cast him forth. 13 But the lord of the vineyard said, What should I do? I will be sending my beloved son; perchance seeing him, they will be revering him. 14 But when the farmers saw him, they were reasoning with themselves, saying, This is the heir. Come-here. We should kill him, in order that the inheritance may become ours. 15 And they cast him forth outside the vineyard, and killed him. Therefore, what will the lord of the vineyard do to them? 16 He will come and destroy these farmers, and will be giving the vineyard to others.
But having heard this, they said, Let it not happen!
17 But he looked at them and said, Therefore what is this that has been written, ‘The stone which the builders rejected, this one has become the head of the corner'? 18 Everyone who falls upon that stone will be shattered, but upon whomever it falls, it will be smashing him.

Minä lähetän rakkaan poikani; häntä he kaiketi kavahtavat.' 14 Mutta kun viinitarhurit näkivät hänet, neuvottelivat he keskenään ja sanoivat: 'Tämä on perillinen; tappakaamme hänet, että perintö tulisi meidän omaksemme'. 15 Ja he heittivät hänet ulos viinitarhasta ja tappoivat.

16 Virá e destruirá esses lavradores, e dará a vinha a outros.
