  8 H7014 And Cain H559 talked [H8799]   H413 with H1893 Abel H251 his brother H7704 : and it came to pass, when they were in the field H7014 , that Cain H6965 rose up [H8799]   H413 against H1893 Abel H251 his brother H2026 , and slew him [H8799]  .
  9 H3068 And the LORD H559 said [H8799]   H7014 unto Cain H335 , Where H1893 is Abel H251 thy brother H559 ? And he said [H8799]   H3045 , I know [H8804]   H251 not: Am I my brother's H8104 keeper [H8802]  ?
  10 H559 And he said [H8799]   H4100 , What H6213 hast thou done [H8804]   H6963 ? the voice H251 of thy brother's H1818 blood H6817 crieth [H8802]   H127 unto me from the ground.
  11 H779 And now art thou cursed [H8803]   H127 from the earth H6475 , which hath opened [H8804]   H6310 her mouth H3947 to receive [H8800]   H251 thy brother's H1818 blood H3027 from thy hand;
  12 H3588 When H5647 thou tillest [H8799]   H127 the ground H3254 , it shall not henceforth [H8686]   H5414 yield [H8800]   H3581 unto thee her strength H5128 ; a fugitive [H8801]   H5110 and a vagabond [H8802]   H776 shalt thou be in the earth.
  13 H7014 And Cain H559 said [H8799]   H3068 unto the LORD H5771 , My punishment H1419 is greater H5375 than I can bear [H8800]  .
  14 H1644 Behold, thou hast driven me out [H8765]   H3117 this day H6440 from the face H127 of the earth H5921 ; and from H6440 thy face H5641 shall I be hid [H8735]   H5128 ; and I shall be a fugitive [H8801]   H5110 and a vagabond [H8802]   H776 in the earth H1961 ; and it shall come to pass [H8804]   H4672 , that every one that findeth me [H8802]   H2026 shall slay me [H8799]  .
  15 H3068 And the LORD H559 said [H8799]   H3651 unto him, Therefore H2026 whosoever slayeth [H8802]   H7014 Cain H5358 , vengeance shall be taken [H8714]   H7659 on him sevenfold H3068 . And the LORD H7760 set [H8799]   H226 a mark H7014 upon Cain H1115 , lest H4672 any finding [H8802]   H5221 him should kill [H8687]   him.
  16 H7014 And Cain H3318 went out [H8799]   H6440 from the presence H3068 of the LORD H3427 , and dwelt [H8799]   H776 in the land H5113 of Nod H6926 , on the east H5731 of Eden.
  17 H7014 And Cain H3045 knew [H8799]   H802 his wife H2029 ; and she conceived [H8799]   H3205 , and bare [H8799]   H2585 Enoch H1129 : and he builded [H8802]   H5892 a city H7121 , and called [H8799]   H8034 the name H5892 of the city H8034 , after the name H1121 of his son H2585 , Enoch.
  18 H2585 And unto Enoch H3205 was born [H8735]   H5897 Irad H5897 : and Irad H3205 begat [H8804]   H4232 Mehujael H4232 : and Mehujael H3205 begat [H8804]   H4967 Methusael H4967 : and Methusael H3205 begat [H8804]   H3929 Lamech.
  19 H3929 And Lamech H3947 took [H8799]   H8147 unto him two H802 wives H8034 : the name H259 of the one H5711 was Adah H8034 , and the name H8145 of the other H6741 Zillah.
  20 H5711 And Adah H3205 bare [H8799]   H2989 Jabal H1 : he was the father H3427 of such as dwell [H8802]   H168 in tents H4735 , and of such as have cattle.
  21 H251 And his brother's H8034 name H3106 was Jubal H1 : he was the father H8610 of all such as handle [H8802]   H3658 the harp H5748 and organ.
  22 H6741 And Zillah H3205 , she also bare [H8804]   H8423 Tubalcain H3913 , an instructer [H8803]   H2794 of every artificer H5178 in brass H1270 and iron H269 : and the sister H8423 of Tubalcain H5279 was Naamah.
  23 H3929 And Lamech H559 said [H8799]   H802 unto his wives H5711 , Adah H6741 and Zillah H8085 , Hear [H8798]   H6963 my voice H802 ; ye wives H3929 of Lamech H238 , hearken [H8685]   H565 unto my speech H2026 : for I have slain [H8804]   H376 a man H6482 to my wounding H3206 , and a young man H2250 to my hurt.

  10 H559 ויאמר And he said, H4100 מה What H6213 עשׂית hast thou done? H6963 קול the voice H1818 דמי blood H251 אחיך of thy brother's H6817 צעקים crieth H413 אלי unto H4480 מן me from H127 האדמה׃ the ground.
  11 H6258 ועתה And now H779 ארור cursed H859 אתה thou H4480 מן from H127 האדמה the earth, H834 אשׁר which H6475 פצתה hath opened H853 את   H6310 פיה her mouth H3947 לקחת to receive H853 את   H1818 דמי blood H251 אחיך thy brother's H3027 מידך׃ from thy hand;
  12 H3588 כי When H5647 תעבד thou tillest H853 את   H127 האדמה the ground, H3808 לא it shall not H3254 תסף henceforth H5414 תת yield H3581 כחה unto thee her strength; H5128 לך נע a fugitive H5110 ונד and a vagabond H1961 תהיה shalt thou be H776 בארץ׃ in the earth.
  13 H559 ויאמר said H7014 קין And Cain H413 אל unto H3068 יהוה the LORD, H1419 גדול greater H5771 עוני My punishment H5375 מנשׂוא׃  
  14 H2005 הן Behold, H1644 גרשׁת   H853 אתי   H3117 היום this day H5921 מעל from H6440 פני the face H127 האדמה of the earth; H6440 ומפניך and from thy face H5641 אסתר shall I be hid; H1961 והייתי and I shall be H5128 נע a fugitive H5110 ונד and a vagabond H776 בארץ in the earth; H1961 והיה and it shall come to pass, H3605 כל every one H4672 מצאי that findeth H2026 יהרגני׃ me shall slay
  15 H559 ויאמר said H3068 לו יהוה And the LORD H3651 לכן unto him, Therefore H3605 כל whosoever H2026 הרג slayeth H7014 קין Cain, H7659 שׁבעתים on him sevenfold. H5358 יקם vengeance shall be taken H7760 וישׂם set H3068 יהוה And the LORD H7014 לקין upon Cain, H226 אות a mark H1115 לבלתי lest H5221 הכות him should kill H853 אתו   H3605 כל any H4672 מצאו׃ finding
  16 H3318 ויצא went out H7014 קין And Cain H6440 מלפני from the presence H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H3427 וישׁב and dwelt H776 בארץ in the land H5113 נוד of Nod, H6926 קדמת on the east H5731 עדן׃ of Eden.
  17 H3045 וידע knew H7014 קין And Cain H853 את   H802 אשׁתו his wife; H2029 ותהר and she conceived, H3205 ותלד and bore H853 את   H2585 חנוך Enoch: H1961 ויהי and he built H1129 בנה and he built H5892 עיר a city, H7121 ויקרא and called H8034 שׁם the name H5892 העיר of the city, H8034 כשׁם after the name H1121 בנו of his son, H2585 חנוך׃ Enoch.
  18 H3205 ויולד was born H2585 לחנוך And unto Enoch H853 את   H5897 עירד Irad: H5897 ועירד and Irad H3205 ילד begot H853 את   H4232 מחויאל Mehujael: H4232 ומחייאל and Mehujael H3205 ילד begot H853 את   H4967 מתושׁאל Methusael: H4967 ומתושׁאל and Methusael H3205 ילד begot H853 את   H3929 למך׃ Lamech.
  19 H3947 ויקח took H3929 לו למך And Lamech H8147 שׁתי unto him two H802 נשׁים wives: H8034 שׁם the name H259 האחת of the one H5711 עדה Adah, H8034 ושׁם and the name H8145 השׁנית of the other H6741 צלה׃ Zillah.
  20 H3205 ותלד bore H5711 עדה And Adah H853 את   H2989 יבל Jabal: H1931 הוא he H1961 היה was H1 אבי the father H3427 ישׁב of such as dwell H168 אהל in tents, H4735 ומקנה׃ and cattle.
  21 H8034 ושׁם name H251 אחיו And his brother's H3106 יובל Jubal: H1931 הוא he H1961 היה was H1 אבי the father H3605 כל of all H8610 תפשׂ such as handle H3658 כנור the harp H5748 ועוגב׃ and organ.
  22 H6741 וצלה And Zillah, H1571 גם also H1931 הוא she H3205 ילדה bore H853 את   H8423 תובל קין Tubal-cain, H3913 לטשׁ an instructor H3605 כל of every H2794 חרשׁ artificer H5178 נחשׁת in brass H1270 וברזל and iron: H269 ואחות and the sister H8423 תובל קין of Tubal-cain H5279 נעמה׃ Naamah.
  23 H559 ויאמר said H3929 למך And Lamech H802 לנשׁיו unto his wives, H5711 עדה Adah H6741 וצלה and Zillah, H8085 שׁמען Hear H6963 קולי my voice; H802 נשׁי ye wives H3929 למך of Lamech, H238 האזנה hearken H565 אמרתי unto my speech: H3588 כי for H582 אישׁ   H2026 הרגתי I have slain H6482 לפצעי to my wounding, H3206 וילד and a young man H2250 לחברתי׃ to my hurt.
