2 Chronicles 24:6-14 And the king called for Jehoiada the chief , and said unto him, Why hast thou not required of the Levites to bring in out of Judah and out of Jerusalem the collection , according to the commandment of Moses the servant of the LORD , and of the congregation of Israel , for the tabernacle of witness?

7 H1121 For the sons H6271 of Athaliah H4849 , that wicked H6555 woman, had broken up [H8804] H1004 the house H430 of God H6944 ; and also all the dedicated things H1004 of the house H3068 of the LORD H6213 did they bestow [H8804] H1168 upon Baalim.

8 H4428 And at the king's H559 commandment [H8799] H6213 they made [H8799] H259 a H727 chest H5414 , and set [H8799] H2351 it without H8179 at the gate H1004 of the house H3068 of the LORD.

9 H5414 And they made [H8799] H6963 a proclamation H3063 through Judah H3389 and Jerusalem H935 , to bring in [H8687] H3068 to the LORD H4864 the collection H4872 that Moses H5650 the servant H430 of God H3478 laid upon Israel H4057 in the wilderness.

10 H8269 And all the princes H5971 and all the people H8055 rejoiced [H8799] H935 , and brought in [H8686] H7993 , and cast [H8686] H727 into the chest H3615 , until they had made an end [H8763] .

11 H6256 Now it came to pass, that at what time H727 the chest H935 was brought [H8686] H4428 unto the king's H6486 office H3027 by the hand H3881 of the Levites H7200 , and when they saw [H8800] H7227 that there was much H3701 money H4428 , the king's H5608 scribe [H8802] H7218 and the high H3548 priest's H6496 officer H935 came [H8804] H6168 and emptied [H8762] H727 the chest H5375 , and took [H8799] H7725 it, and carried H4725 it to his place H7725 again [H8686] H6213 . Thus they did [H8804] H3117 day H3117 by day H622 , and gathered [H8799] H3701 money H7230 in abundance.

12 H4428 And the king H3077 and Jehoiada H5414 gave [H8799] H6213 it to such as did [H8802] H4399 the work H5656 of the service H1004 of the house H3068 of the LORD H7936 , and hired [H8802] H2672 masons [H8802] H2796 and carpenters H2318 to repair [H8763] H1004 the house H3068 of the LORD H2796 , and also such as wrought H1270 iron H5178 and brass H2388 to mend [H8763] H1004 the house H3068 of the LORD.

13 H4399 So the workmen H6213 [H8802] H6213 wrought [H8799] H4399 , and the work H5927 was [H8799] H724 perfected H3027 by them H5975 , and they set [H8686] H1004 the house H430 of God H4971 in his state H553 , and strengthened [H8762] it.

14 H3615 And when they had finished [H8763] H935 it, they brought [H8689] H7605 the rest H3701 of the money H6440 before H4428 the king H3077 and Jehoiada H6213 , whereof were made [H8799] H3627 vessels H1004 for the house H3068 of the LORD H3627 , even vessels H8335 to minister H5927 , and to offer [H8687] H3709 withal, and spoons H3627 , and vessels H2091 of gold H3701 and silver H5927 . And they offered [H8688] H5930 burnt offerings H1004 in the house H3068 of the LORD H8548 continually H3117 all the days H3077 of Jehoiada.
