Genesis 19:17-30 And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad , that he said , Escape for thy life ; look not behind thee , neither stay thou in all the plain ; escape to the mountain , lest thou be consumed .

18 H3876 And Lot H559 said [H8799] H113 unto them, Oh, not so, my Lord:

19 H5650 Behold now, thy servant H4672 hath found [H8804] H2580 grace H5869 in thy sight H1431 , and thou hast magnified [H8686] H2617 thy mercy H6213 , which thou hast shewed [H8804] H5978 unto me H2421 in saving [H8687] H5315 my life H3201 ; and I cannot [H8799] H4422 escape [H8736] H2022 to the mountain H7451 , lest some evil H1692 take [H8799] H4191 me, and I die [H8804] :

20 H5892 Behold now, this city H7138 is near H5127 to flee [H8800] H1931 unto, and it H4705 is a little one H4422 : Oh, let me escape [H8735] H4705 thither, ( is it not a little one H5315 ?) and my soul H2421 shall live [H8799] .

21 H559 And he said [H8799] H2009 unto him, See H5375 , I have accepted [H8804] H6440 thee H1697 concerning this thing H2015 also, that I will not overthrow [H8800] H5892 this city H834 , for the which H1696 thou hast spoken [H8765] .

22 H4116 Haste [H8761] H4422 thee, escape [H8734] H3201 thither; for I cannot [H8799] H6213 do [H8800] H1697 any thing H935 till thou be come [H8800] H8034 thither. Therefore the name H5892 of the city H7121 was called [H8804] H6820 Zoar.

23 H8121 The sun H3318 was risen [H8804] H776 upon the earth H3876 when Lot H935 entered [H8804] H6820 into Zoar.

24 H3068 Then the LORD H4305 rained [H8689] H5467 upon Sodom H6017 and upon Gomorrah H1614 brimstone H784 and fire H3068 from the LORD H8064 out of heaven;

25 H2015 And he overthrew [H8799] H411 those H5892 cities H3603 , and all the plain H3427 , and all the inhabitants [H8802] H5892 of the cities H6780 , and that which grew H127 upon the ground.

26 H802 But his wife H5027 looked back [H8686] H310 from behind him H5333 , and she became a pillar H4417 of salt.

27 H85 And Abraham H7925 gat up early [H8686] H1242 in the morning H4725 to the place H5975 where he stood [H8804] H6440 before H3068 the LORD:

28 H8259 And he looked [H8686] H6440 toward H5467 Sodom H6017 and Gomorrah H6440 , and toward H776 all the land H3603 of the plain H7200 , and beheld [H8799] H7008 , and, lo, the smoke H776 of the country H5927 went up [H8804] H7008 as the smoke H3536 of a furnace.

29 H430 And it came to pass, when God H7843 destroyed [H8763] H5892 the cities H3603 of the plain H430 , that God H2142 remembered [H8799] H85 Abraham H7971 , and sent [H8762] H3876 Lot H8432 out of the midst H2018 of the overthrow H2015 , when he overthrew [H8800] H5892 the cities H2004 in the which H3876 Lot H3427 dwelt [H8804] .

30 H3876 And Lot H5927 went up [H8799] H6820 out of Zoar H3427 , and dwelt [H8799] H2022 in the mountain H8147 , and his two H1323 daughters H3372 with him; for he feared [H8804] H3427 to dwell [H8800] H6820 in Zoar H3427 : and he dwelt [H8799] H4631 in a cave H8147 , he and his two H1323 daughters.
