What will be the sign of your presence and of the end of the age?« ⁴ Jesus answered: »Be careful that no man misleads you. ⁵ »Many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. ⁶ »You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. Do not be troubled, for this must happen, but the end is not yet. ⁷ »Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in many places. ⁸ »These things are the beginning of birth pains (Greek: odin': in the throws of pain, such as childbirth). ⁹ »People will cause you tribulation, and kill you. You will be hated by all the nations for my name’s sake. ¹⁰ »Many will stumble and betray and hate one another. ¹¹ »Many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. ¹² »Wickedness and lawlessness will increase. The love of many will grow cold. ¹³ »The person who endures to the end will be saved. ¹⁴ »The good news of the kingdom will be preached in the entire world for a witness to all the nations and then the end will come.
