  2 H2607 that Hanani, H259 one H251 of my brothers, H935 came, H582 he and certain men H3063 out of Judah; H7592 and I asked H3064 them concerning the Jews H6413 who had escaped, H7604 who were left H7628 of the captivity, H3389 and concerning Jerusalem.

  3 H559 They said H7604 to me, "The remnant H7604 who are left H7628 of the captivity H4082 there in the province H1419 are in great H7451 affliction H2781 and reproach. H2346 The wall H3389 of Jerusalem H6555 also is broken down, H8179 and its gates H3341 are burned H784 with fire."

  4 H8085 It happened, when I heard H1697 these words, H3427 that I sat down H1058 and wept, H56 and mourned H3117 certain days; H6684 and I fasted H6419 and prayed H6440 before H430 the God H8064 of heaven,

  11 H136 Lord, H577 I beg H241 you, let your ear H7183 be attentive H8605 now to the prayer H5650 of your servant, H8605 and to the prayer H5650 of your servants, H2655 who delight H3372 to fear H8034 your name; H6743 and please prosper H5650 your servant H3117 this day, H5414 and grant H7356 him mercy H6440 in the sight H376 of this man."
