Exodus 21:28-36 If an ox shall gore a man or a woman , that they die : then the ox shall be surely stoned , and his flesh shall not be eaten ; but the owner of the ox shall be clear.

34 H1167 The owner H953 of the pit H7999 [H8762] shall make payment H7725 [H8686] , and give H3701 money H1167 to the owner H4191 [H8801] of them; and the dead beast shall be his.

35 H376 And if one man's H7794 ox H5062 [H8799] shall hurt H7453 another's H4191 [H8804] , that he shall die H4376 [H8804] ; then they shall sell H2416 the live H7794 ox H2673 [H8804] , and divide H3701 the money H4191 [H8801] of it; and the dead H2673 [H8799] ox also they shall divide.

36 H3045 [H8738] Or if it shall be known H7794 that the ox H5056 was accustomed to push H8543 H8032 in time past H1167 , and his owner H8104 [H8799] hath not restrained H7999 [H8763] him; he shall surely H7999 [H8762] pay H7794 ox H7794 for ox H4191 [H8801] ; and the dead shall be his own.
