Portuguese⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹⁷ Não é hoje a sega do trigo? clamarei, pois, ao Senhor, para que ele envie trovões e chuva; e sabereis e vereis que é grande a vossa maldade, que fizestes perante o Senhor, pedindo para vós um rei. ¹⁸ Então invocou Samuel ao Senhor, e o Senhor enviou naquele dia trovões e chuva; pelo que todo o povo temeu sobremaneira ao Senhor e a Samuel.

Kjenn da og se at eders ondskap er stor, den som I har gjort for Herrens øine ved å kreve en konge! ¹⁸ Så ropte Samuel til Herren, og samme dag sendte Herren torden og regn; da blev alt folket grepet av stor frykt for Herren og for Samuel.

Să ştiţi atunci şi să vedeţi cît de rău... aţi făcut înaintea Domnului cînd aţi cerut un împărat pentru voi``. ¹⁸ Samuel a strigat către Domnul, şi Domnul a trimes chiar în ziua aceea tunete şi ploaie. Tot poporul a avut o mare frică de Domnul şi de Samuel.

Я покличу до Господа, і Він пошле грім та дощ, а ви пізнаєте й побачите, що велике ваше зло, яке ви зробили в Господніх очах жаданням для себе царя. ¹⁸ І кликнув Самуїл до Господа, а Господь послав того дня грім та дощ. І ввесь народ сильно злякався Господа та Самуїла!
