  13 H3110 ויוחנן Moreover Johanan H1121 בן the son H7143 קרח of Kareah, H3605 וכל and all H8269 שׂרי the captains H2428 החילים of the forces H834 אשׁר that H7704 בשׂדה in the fields, H935 באו came H413 אל to H1436 גדליהו Gedaliah H4708 המצפתה׃ to Mizpah,

  14 H559 ויאמרו And said H413 אליו unto H3045 הידע   H3045 תדע   H3588 כי that H1185 בעליס Baalis H4428 מלך the king H1121 בני the son H5983 עמון   H7971 שׁלח hath sent H853 את   H3458 ישׁמעאל Ishmael H1121 בן the son H5418 נתניה of Nethaniah H5221 להכתך to slay H5315 נפשׁ to slay H3808 ולא them not. H539 האמין believed H1436 להם גדליהו thee? But Gedaliah H1121 בן   H296 אחיקם׃ of Ahikam

  15 H3110 ויוחנן Then Johanan H1121 בן the son H7143 קרח of Kareah H559 אמר spoke H413 אל to H1436 גדליהו Gedaliah H5643 בסתר secretly, H4709 במצפה in Mizpah H559 לאמר saying, H1980 אלכה Let me go, H4994 נא I pray thee, H5221 ואכה and I will slay H853 את   H3458 ישׁמעאל Ishmael H1121 בן the son H5418 נתניה of Nethaniah, H376 ואישׁ man H3808 לא and no H3045 ידע shall know H4100 למה wherefore H5221 יככה should he slay H5315 נפשׁ should he slay H6327 ונפצו thee should be scattered, H3605 כל thee, that all H3064 יהודה   H6908 הנקבצים which are gathered H413 אליך unto H6 ואבדה perish? H7611 שׁארית and the remnant H3063 יהודה׃ the Jews

  16 H559 ויאמר said H1436 גדליהו But Gedaliah H1121 בן the son H296 אחיקם of Ahikam H413 אל unto H3110 יוחנן Johanan H1121 בן the son H7143 קרח of Kareah, H408 אל Thou shalt not H6213 תעשׂ do H853 את   H1697 הדבר thing: H2088 הזה this H3588 כי for H8267 שׁקר falsely H859 אתה thou H1696 דבר speakest H413 אל of H3458 ישׁמעאל׃ Ishmael.

  1 H1961 ויהי Now it came to pass H2320 בחדשׁ month, H7637 השׁביעי in the seventh H935 בא him, came H3458 ישׁמעאל Ishmael H1121 בן the son H5418 נתניה of Nethaniah H1121 בן the son H476 אלישׁמע of Elishama, H2233 מזרע of the seed H4410 המלוכה royal, H7227 ורבי and the princes H4428 המלך of the king, H6235 ועשׂרה even ten H376 אנשׁים men H854 אתו with H413 אל unto H1436 גדליהו Gedaliah H1121 בן the son H296 אחיקם of Ahikam H4709 המצפתה in Mizpah. H398 ויאכלו they did eat H8033 שׁם and there H3899 לחם bread H3162 יחדו together H4709 במצפה׃  

  6 H3318 ויצא went forth H3458 ישׁמעאל And Ishmael H1121 בן the son H5418 נתניה of Nethaniah H7125 לקראתם to meet H4480 מן from H4709 המצפה Mizpah H1980 הלך all along as he went: H1980 הלך all along as he went: H1058 ובכה them, weeping H1961 ויהי and it came to pass, H6298 כפגשׁ as he met H853 אתם   H559 ויאמר them, he said H413 אליהם unto H935 באו them, Come H413 אל to H1436 גדליהו Gedaliah H1121 בן the son H296 אחיקם׃ of Ahikam.

  7 H1961 ויהי And it was H935 כבואם when they came H413 אל into H8432 תוך the midst H5892 העיר of the city, H7819 וישׁחטם slew H3458 ישׁמעאל that Ishmael H1121 בן the son H5418 נתניה of Nethaniah H413 אל them, into H8432 תוך the midst H953 הבור of the pit, H1931 הוא he, H376 והאנשׁים and the men H834 אשׁר that H854 אתו׃ with

  8 H6235 ועשׂרה But ten H376 אנשׁים men H4672 נמצאו were found H559 בם ויאמרו among them that said H413 אל unto H3458 ישׁמעאל Ishmael, H408 אל us not: H4191 תמתנו Slay H3588 כי for H3426 ישׁ we have H4301 לנו מטמנים treasures H7704 בשׂדה in the field, H2406 חטים of wheat, H8184 ושׂערים and of barley, H8081 ושׁמן and of oil, H1706 ודבשׁ and of honey. H2308 ויחדל So he forbear, H3808 ולא them not H4191 המיתם and slew H8432 בתוך among H251 אחיהם׃ their brethren.

  10 H7617 וישׁב carried away captive H3458 ישׁמעאל Then Ishmael H853 את   H3605 כל all H7611 שׁארית the residue H5971 העם of the people H834 אשׁר that H4709 במצפה in Mizpah, H853 את   H1323 בנות daughters, H4428 המלך the king's H853 ואת   H3605 כל and all H5971 העם the people H7604 הנשׁארים that remained H4709 במצפה in Mizpah, H834 אשׁר whom H6485 הפקיד had committed H5018 נבוזראדן Nebuzaradan H7227 רב the captain H2876 טבחים of the guard H853 את   H1436 גדליהו to Gedaliah H1121 בן the son H296 אחיקם of Ahikam: H7617 וישׁבם carried them away captive, H3458 ישׁמעאל and Ishmael H1121 בן the son H5418 נתניה of Nethaniah H1980 וילך and departed H5674 לעבר to go over H413 אל to H1121 בני   H5983 עמון׃  

  12 H3947 ויקחו Then they took H853 את   H3605 כל all H376 האנשׁים the men, H1980 וילכו and went H3898 להלחם to fight H5973 עם with H3458 ישׁמעאל Ishmael H1121 בן the son H5418 נתניה of Nethaniah, H4672 וימצאו and found H853 אתו   H413 אל him by H4325 מים waters H7227 רבים the great H834 אשׁר that H1391 בגבעון׃ in Gibeon.

  14 H5437 ויסבו cast about H3605 כל So all H5971 העם the people H834 אשׁר that H7617 שׁבה had carried away captive H3458 ישׁמעאל Ishmael H4480 מן from H4709 המצפה Mizpah H7725 וישׁבו and returned, H1980 וילכו and went H413 אל unto H3110 יוחנן Johanan H1121 בן the son H7143 קרח׃ of Kareah.

  15 H3458 וישׁמעאל But Ishmael H1121 בן the son H5418 נתניה of Nethaniah H4422 נמלט escaped H8083 בשׁמנה with eight H376 אנשׁים men, H6440 מפני from H3110 יוחנן Johanan H1980 וילך and went H413 אל to H1121 בני   H5983 עמון׃  

  2 H559 ויאמרו And said H413 אל unto H3414 ירמיהו Jeremiah H5030 הנביא the prophet, H5307 תפל be accepted H4994 נא Let, we beseech thee, H8467 תחנתנו our supplication H6440 לפניך before H6419 והתפלל thee, and pray H5704 בעדנו   H413 אל us unto H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God, H1157 בעד for H3605 כל all H7611 השׁארית remnant; H2063 הזאת this H3588 כי (for H7604 נשׁארנו we are left H4592 מעט a few H7235 מהרבה of many, H834 כאשׁר as H5869 עיניך thine eyes H7200 ראות do behold H853 אתנו׃  

  4 H559 ויאמר said H413 אליהם unto H3414 ירמיהו Then Jeremiah H5030 הנביא the prophet H8085 שׁמעתי them, I have heard H2005 הנני   H6419 מתפלל I will pray H413 אל unto H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיכם your God H1697 כדבריכם according to your words; H1961 והיה and it shall come to pass, H3605 כל whatsoever H1697 הדבר thing H834 אשׁר whatsoever H6030 יענה shall answer H3068 יהוה the LORD H853 אתכם   H5046 אגיד you, I will declare H3808 לכם לא   H4513 אמנע   H4480 מכם from H1697 דבר׃  

  5 H1992 והמה Then they H559 אמרו said H413 אל to H3414 ירמיהו Jeremiah, H1961 יהי be H3068 יהוה The LORD H5707 בנו לעד witness H571 אמת a true H539 ונאמן and faithful H518 אם between us, if H3808 לא not H3605 ככל according to all H1697 הדבר things H834 אשׁר for the which H7971 ישׁלחך shall send H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H413 אלינו thee to H3651 כן even H6213 נעשׂה׃ we do

  6 H518 אם Whether H2896 טוב good, H518 ואם or whether H7451 רע evil, H6963 בקול the voice H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהינו our God, H834 אשׁר to whom H580 אנו we H7971 שׁלחים send H853 אתך   H413 אליו   H8085 נשׁמע we will obey H4616 למען thee; that H834 אשׁר thee; that H3190 ייטב it may be well H3588 לנו כי with us, when H8085 נשׁמע we obey H6963 בקול the voice H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהינו׃ our God.

  7 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass H7093 מקץ after H6235 עשׂרת ten H3117 ימים days, H1961 ויהי came H1697 דבר that the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD H413 אל unto H3414 ירמיהו׃ Jeremiah.

  8 H7121 ויקרא   H413 אל   H3110 יוחנן he Johanan H1121 בן the son H7143 קרח of Kareah, H413 ואל   H3605 כל and all H8269 שׂרי the captains H2428 החילים of the forces H834 אשׁר which H854 אתו with H3605 ולכל him, and all H5971 העם the people H6996 למקטן from the least H5704 ועד even to H1419 גדול׃ the greatest,

  9 H559 ויאמר And said H413 אליהם unto H3541 כה them, Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H430 אלהי the God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H834 אשׁר whom H7971 שׁלחתם ye sent H853 אתי   H413 אליו unto H5307 להפיל me to present H8467 תחנתכם your supplication H6440 לפניו׃ before

  10 H518 אם If H7725 שׁוב ye will still abide H3427 תשׁבו ye will still abide H776 בארץ land, H2063 הזאת in this H1129 ובניתי then will I build H853 אתכם   H3808 ולא you, and not H2040 אהרס pull down, H5193 ונטעתי and I will plant H853 אתכם   H3808 ולא you, and not H5428 אתושׁ pluck up: H3588 כי for H5162 נחמתי I repent H413 אל me of H7451 הרעה the evil H834 אשׁר that H6213 עשׂיתי׃ I have done

  12 H5414 ואתן And I will show H7356 לכם רחמים mercies H7355 ורחם unto you, that he may have mercy upon H853 אתכם   H7725 והשׁיב   H853 אתכם   H413 אל to H127 אדמתכם׃ your own land.

  20 H3588 כי For H8582 התעתים ye dissembled H5315 בנפשׁותיכם in your hearts, H3588 כי when H859 אתם ye H7971 שׁלחתם sent H853 אתי   H413 אל me unto H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיכם your God, H559 לאמר saying, H6419 התפלל Pray H5704 בעדנו   H413 אל us unto H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהינו our God; H3605 וככל and according unto all H834 אשׁר that H559 יאמר shall say, H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהינו our God H3651 כן so H5046 הגד declare H6213 לנו ועשׂינו׃ unto us, and we will do

  21 H5046 ואגד declared H3117 לכם היום And I have this day H3808 ולא to you; but ye have not H8085 שׁמעתם obeyed H6963 בקול the voice H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהיכם your God, H3605 ולכל nor any H834 אשׁר for the which H7971 שׁלחני he hath sent H413 אליכם׃ me unto

  1 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass, H3615 ככלות had made an end H3414 ירמיהו when Jeremiah H1696 לדבר of speaking H413 אל unto H3605 כל all H5971 העם the people H853 את   H3605 כל all H1697 דברי the words H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהיהם their God, H834 אשׁר for which H7971 שׁלחו had sent H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיהם their God H413 אליהם him to H853 את   H3605 כל them, all H1697 הדברים words, H428 האלה׃ these

  2 H559 ויאמר Then spoke H5838 עזריה Azariah H1121 בן the son H1955 הושׁעיה of Hoshaiah, H3110 ויוחנן and Johanan H1121 בן the son H7143 קרח of Kareah, H3605 וכל and all H376 האנשׁים men, H2086 הזדים the proud H559 אמרים saying H413 אל unto H3414 ירמיהו Jeremiah, H8267 שׁקר falsely: H859 אתה Thou H1696 מדבר speakest H3808 לא hath not H7971 שׁלחך sent H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהינו our God H559 לאמר thee to say, H3808 לא not H935 תבאו Go H4714 מצרים into Egypt H1481 לגור to sojourn H8033 שׁם׃ there:

  8 H1961 ויהי Then came H1697 דבר the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD H413 אל unto H3414 ירמיהו Jeremiah H8471 בתחפנחס in Tahpanhes, H559 לאמר׃ saying,

  10 H559 ואמרת And say H413 אליהם unto H3541 כה them, Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts, H430 אלהי the God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel; H2005 הנני   H7971 שׁלח I will send H3947 ולקחתי and take H853 את   H5019 נבוכדראצר Nebuchadnezzar H4428 מלך the king H894 בבל of Babylon, H5650 עבדי my servant, H7760 ושׂמתי and will set H3678 כסאו his throne H4605 ממעל upon H68 לאבנים stones H428 האלה these H834 אשׁר that H2934 טמנתי I have hid; H5186 ונטה and he shall spread H853 את   H8237 שׁפרורו his royal pavilion H5921 עליהם׃ over

  1 H1697 הדבר The word H834 אשׁר that H1961 היה came H413 אל to H3414 ירמיהו Jeremiah H413 אל concerning H3605 כל all H3064 היהודים the Jews H3427 הישׁבים which dwell H776 בארץ in the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H3427 הישׁבים which dwell H4024 במגדל at Migdol, H8471 ובתחפנחס and at Tahpanhes, H5297 ובנף and at Noph, H776 ובארץ and in the country H6624 פתרוס of Pathros, H559 לאמר׃ saying,
