Genesis 24:35-49 And Jehovah hath blessed my master greatly; and he is become great: and he hath given him flocks and herds, and silver and gold, and men-servants and maid-servants, and camels and asses.

36 H8283 And Sarah H113 my master's H802 wife H3205 bare H1121 a son H113 to my master H310 when H2209 she was old: H5414 and unto him hath he given all that he hath.

37 H113 And my master H7650 made me swear, H559 saying, H3947 Thou shalt not take H802 a wife H1121 for my son H1323 of the daughters H3669 of the Canaanites, H776 in whose land H3427 I dwell:

38 H518 but H3212 thou shalt go H1 unto my father's H1004 house, H4940 and to my kindred, H3947 and take H802 a wife H1121 for my son.

39 H559 And I said H113 unto my master, H802 Peradventure the woman H3212 will not follow me.

40 H559 And he said H3068 unto me, Jehovah, H6440 before H1980 whom I walk, H7971 will send H4397 his angel H6743 with thee, and prosper H1870 thy way; H3947 and thou shalt take H802 a wife H1121 for my son H4940 of my kindred, H1 and of my father's H1004 house:

41 H5352 then shalt thou be clear H423 from my oath, H935 when thou comest H4940 to my kindred; H5414 and if they give H5355 her not to thee, thou shalt be clear H423 from my oath.

42 H935 And I came H3117 this day H5869 unto the fountain, H559 and said, H3068 O Jehovah, H430 the God H113 of my master H85 Abraham, H3426 if now thou do H6743 prosper H1870 my way H1980 which I go:

43 H5324 behold, I am standing H5869 by the fountain H4325 of water; H5959 and let it come to pass, that the maiden H3318 that cometh forth H7579 to draw, H559 to whom I shall say, H8248 Give me, H4592 I pray thee, a little H4325 water H3537 from thy pitcher H8248 to drink;

44 H559 and she shall say H8354 to me, Both drink H7579 thou, and I will also draw H1581 for thy camels: H802 let the same be the woman H3068 whom Jehovah H3198 hath appointed H113 for my master's H1121 son.

45 H3615 And before I had done H1696 speaking H3820 in my heart, H7259 behold, Rebekah H3318 came forth H3537 with her pitcher H7926 on her shoulder; H3381 and she went down H5869 unto the fountain, H7579 and drew: H559 and I said H8248 unto her, Let me drink, I pray thee.

46 H4116 And she made haste, H3381 and let down H3537 her pitcher H559 from her shoulder, and said, H8354 Drink, H8248 and I will give H1581 thy camels H8248 drink H8354 also: so I drank, H8248 and she made H1581 the camels H8248 drink also.

47 H7592 And I asked H559 her, and said, H1323 Whose daughter H559 art thou? And she said, H1323 The daughter H1328 of Bethuel, H5152 Nahor's H1121 son, H4435 whom Milcah H3205 bare H7760 unto him: and I put H5141 the ring H639 upon her nose, H6781 and the bracelets H3027 upon her hands.

48 H6915 And I bowed my head, H7812 and worshipped H3068 Jehovah, H1288 and blessed H3068 Jehovah, H430 the God H113 of my master H85 Abraham, H5148 who had led me H571 in the right H1870 way H3947 to take H113 my master's H251 brother's H1323 daughter H1121 for his son.

49 H3426 And now if ye will H6213 deal H2617 kindly H571 and truly H113 with my master, H5046 tell H5046 me: and if not, tell H6437 me; that I may turn H3225 to the right hand, H176 or H8040 to the left.
