4 H3920 וילכד took H1732 דויד And David H4480 ממנו from H505 אלף him a thousand H7393 רכב chariots, H7651 ושׁבעת and seven H505 אלפים thousand H6571 פרשׁים horsemen, H6242 ועשׂרים and twenty H505 אלף thousand H376 אישׁ footmen: H7273 רגלי footmen: H6131 ויעקר also hamstrung H1732 דויד David H853 את H3605 כל all H7393 הרכב the chariot H3498 ויותר but reserved H4480 ממנו of H3967 מאה them a hundred H7393 רכב׃ chariots.

5 H935 ויבא came H758 ארם And when the Syrians H1834 דרמשׂק of Damascus H5826 לעזור to help H1909 להדדעזר H4428 מלך king H6678 צובה of Zobah, H5221 ויך slew H1732 דויד David H758 בארם of the Syrians H6242 עשׂרים and twenty H8147 ושׁנים two H505 אלף thousand H376 אישׁ׃ men.

6 H7760 וישׂם put H1732 דויד Then David H758 בארם and the Syrians H1834 דרמשׂק H1961 ויהי became H758 ארם H1732 לדויד David's H5650 עבדים servants, H5375 נשׂאי brought H4503 מנחה gifts. H3467 ויושׁע preserved H3068 יהוה Thus the LORD H1732 לדויד David H3605 בכל whithersoever H834 אשׁר whithersoever H1980 הלך׃ he went.
