Esther 8:9-17 Then were the king's scribes called at that time in the third month , that is, the month Sivan , on the three and twentieth day thereof; and it was written according to all that Mordecai commanded unto the Jews , and to the lieutenants , and the deputies and rulers of the provinces which are from India unto Ethiopia , an hundred twenty and seven provinces , unto every province according to the writing thereof, and unto every people after their language , and to the Jews according to their writing , and according to their language.

13 H6572 The copy H3791 of the writing H1881 for a commandment H5414 to be given [H8736] H4082 in every province H1540 was published [H8803] H5971 unto all people H3064 , and that the Jews H6264 should be ready [H8675] H6259 H3117 against that day H5358 to avenge [H8736] H341 themselves on their enemies [H8802] .

14 H7323 So the posts [H8801] H7392 that rode [H8802] H7409 upon mules H327 and camels H3318 went out [H8804] H926 , being hastened [H8794] H1765 and pressed on [H8803] H4428 by the king's H1697 commandment H1881 . And the decree H5414 was given [H8738] H7800 at Shushan H1002 the palace.

And many from among the peoples of the land became Jews; for the fear of the Jews was fallen upon them.
