1 H310 And it came to pass after H1697 these things H8248 , that the butler [H8688]   H4428 of the king H4714 of Egypt H644 and his baker [H8802]   H2398 had offended [H8804]   H113 their lord H4428 the king H4714 of Egypt.
  2 H6547 And Pharaoh H7107 was wroth [H8799]   H5921 against H8147 two H5631 of his officers H8269 , against the chief H8248 of the butlers [H8688]   H8269 , and against the chief H644 of the bakers [H8802]  .
3 H5414 And he put [H8799]   H4929 them in ward H1004 in the house H8269 of the captain H2876 of the guard H1004 , into the prison H5470   H4725 , the place H3130 where Joseph H631 was bound [H8803]  .
4 H8269 And the captain H2876 of the guard H6485 charged [H8799]   H3130 Joseph H8334 with them, and he served [H8762]   H3117 them: and they continued a season H4929 in ward.
  5 H2492 And they dreamed [H8799]   H2472 a dream H8147 both of them H376 , each man H2472 his dream H259 in one H3915 night H376 , each man H6623 according to the interpretation H2472 of his dream H8248 , the butler [H8688]   H644 and the baker [H8802]   H4428 of the king H4714 of Egypt H631 , which were bound [H8803]   H1004 in the prison H5470  .
6 H3130 And Joseph H935 came in [H8799]   H1242 unto them in the morning H7200 , and looked [H8799]   H2196 upon them, and, behold, they were sad [H8802]  .
  7 H7592 And he asked [H8799]   H6547 Pharaoh's H5631 officers H4929 that were with him in the ward H113 of his lord's H1004 house H559 , saying [H8800]   H6440 , Wherefore look H7451 ye so sadly H3117 to day?
8 H559 And they said [H8799]   H2492 unto him, We have dreamed [H8804]   H2472 a dream H6622 , and there is no interpreter [H8802]   H3130 of it. And Joseph H559 said [H8799]   H6623 unto them, Do not interpretations H430 belong to God H5608 ? tell me [H8761]   them, I pray you.
  9 H8269 And the chief H8248 butler [H8688]   H5608 told [H8762]   H2472 his dream H3130 to Joseph H559 , and said [H8799]   H2472 to him, In my dream H1612 , behold, a vine H6440 was before me;
10 H1612 And in the vine H7969 were three H8299 branches H6524 : and it was as though it budded [H8802]   H5322 , and her blossoms H5927 shot forth [H8804]   H811 ; and the clusters H1310 thereof brought forth ripe [H8689]   H6025 grapes:
  11 H6547 And Pharaoh's H3563 cup H3027 was in my hand H3947 : and I took [H8799]   H6025 the grapes H7818 , and pressed [H8799]   H6547 them into Pharaoh's H3563 cup H5414 , and I gave [H8799]   H3563 the cup H6547 into Pharaoh's H3709 hand.
12 H3130 And Joseph H559 said [H8799]   H6623 unto him, This is the interpretation H7969 of it: The three H8299 branches H7969 are three H3117 days:
  13 H5750 Yet H7969 within three H3117 days H6547 shall Pharaoh H5375 lift up [H8799]   H7218 thine head H7725 , and restore [H8689]   H3653 thee unto thy place H5414 : and thou shalt deliver [H8804]   H6547 Pharaoh's H3563 cup H3027 into his hand H7223 , after the former H4941 manner H8248 when thou wast his butler [H8688]  .
14 H2142 But think [H8804]   H3190 on me when it shall be well [H8799]   H6213 with thee, and shew [H8804]   H2617 kindness H2142 , I pray thee, unto me, and make mention [H8689]   H6547 of me unto Pharaoh H3318 , and bring me [H8689]   H1004 out of this house:
15 H1589 For indeed I was stolen away [H8795]   H776 out of the land H5680 of the Hebrews H6213 : and here also have I done [H8804]   H3972 nothing H7760 that they should put [H8804]   H953 me into the dungeon.
  16 H8269 When the chief H644 baker [H8802]   H7200 saw [H8799]   H6622 that the interpretation [H8804]   H2896 was good H559 , he said [H8799]   H3130 unto Joseph H637 , I also H2472 was in my dream H7969 , and, behold, I had three H2751 white H5536 baskets H7218 on my head:
17 H5945 And in the uppermost H5536 basket H3978 there was of all manner H4639 of bakemeats H644   [H8802]   H6547 for Pharaoh H5775 ; and the birds H398 did eat [H8802]   H5536 them out of the basket H5921 upon H7218 my head.
  18 H3130 And Joseph H6030 answered [H8799]   H559 and said [H8799]   H6623 , This is the interpretation H7969 thereof: The three H5536 baskets H7969 are three H3117 days:
19 H7969 Yet within three H3117 days H6547 shall Pharaoh H5375 lift up [H8799]   H7218 thy head H8518 from off thee, and shall hang [H8804]   H6086 thee on a tree H5775 ; and the birds H398 shall eat [H8804]   H1320 thy flesh from off thee.
  20 H7992 And it came to pass the third H3117 day H6547 , which was Pharaoh's H3117 birthday H3205   [H8715]   H6213 , that he made [H8799]   H4960 a feast H5650 unto all his servants H5375 : and he lifted up [H8799]   H7218 the head H8269 of the chief H8248 butler [H8688]   H8269 and of the chief H644 baker [H8802]   H8432 among H5650 his servants.
  21 H7725 And he restored H8269 the chief H8248 butler [H8688]   H4945 unto his butlership H7725 again [H8686]   H5414 ; and he gave [H8799]   H3563 the cup H6547 into Pharaoh's H3709 hand:
  22 H8518 But he hanged [H8804]   H8269 the chief H644 baker [H8802]   H3130 : as Joseph H6622 had interpreted [H8804]   to them.
  23 H8269 Yet did not the chief H8248 butler [H8688]   H2142 remember [H8804]   H3130 Joseph H7911 , but forgat [H8799]   him.

2 H6547 And Pharaoh H7107 [H8799] burst out in rage H5921 with H8147 two H5631 of his officers, H8269 with the chief H8248 [H8688] of the butlers, H8269 and with the chief H644 [H8802] of the bakers.
3 H5414 [H8799] And he put H4929 them in custody H1004 in the house H8269 of the captain H2876 of the guard, H1004 H5470 into the prison, H4725 the place H3130 where Joseph H631 [H8803] was bound.
4 H8269 And the captain H2876 of the guard H6485 [H8799] charged H3130 Joseph H8334 [H8762] with them, and he served H3117 them: and they continued a season H4929 in custody.
5 H2492 [H8799] And they dreamed H2472 a dream H8147 both of them, H376 each man H2472 his dream H259 in one H3915 night, H376 each man H6623 according to the interpretation H2472 of his dream, H8248 [H8688] the butler H644 [H8802] and the baker H4428 of the king H4714 of Egypt, H631 [H8803] who were bound H1004 H5470 in the prison.
6 H3130 And Joseph H935 [H8799] came H1242 to them in the morning, H7200 [H8799] and looked H2196 [H8802] upon them, and, behold, they were sad.
  7 H7592 [H8799] And he asked H6547 Pharaoh's H5631 officers H4929 that were with him in the ward H113 of his lord's H1004 house, H559 [H8800] saying, H6440 Why look H7451 ye so sad H3117 to day?
8 H559 [H8799] And they said H2492 [H8804] to him, We have dreamed H2472 a dream, H6622 [H8802] and there is no interpreter H3130 of it. And Joseph H559 [H8799] said H6623 to them, Do not interpretations H430 belong to God? H5608 [H8761] tell me them, I pray you.
  9 H8269 And the chief H8248 [H8688] butler H5608 [H8762] told H2472 his dream H3130 to Joseph, H559 [H8799] and said H2472 to him, In my dream, H1612 behold, a vine H6440 was before the face of me;
10 H1612 And on the vine H7969 were three H8299 branches: H6524 [H8802] and it was as though it budded, H5322 and its blossoms H5927 [H8804] shot forth; H811 and its clusters H1310 [H8689] brought forth ripe H6025 grapes:
  11 H6547 And Pharaoh's H3563 cup H3027 was in my hand: H3947 [H8799] and I took H6025 the grapes, H7818 [H8799] and pressed H6547 them into Pharaoh's H3563 cup, H5414 [H8799] and I gave H3563 the cup H6547 into Pharaoh's H3709 palm.
12 H3130 And Joseph H559 [H8799] said H6623 to him, This is the interpretation H7969 of it: The three H8299 branches H7969 are three H3117 days:
13 H5750 Yet H7969 within three H3117 days H6547 shall Pharaoh H5375 [H8799] lift up H7218 thy head, H7725 [H8689] and restore H3653 thee to thy place: H5414 [H8804] and thou shalt give H6547 Pharaoh's H3563 cup H3027 into his hand, H7223 after the former H4941 manner H8248 [H8688] when thou wast his butler.
14 H2142 [H8804] But think H3190 [H8799] on me when it shall be well H6213 [H8804] with thee, and show H2617 mercy H2142 [H8689] to me, I pray thee, and make mention H6547 of me to Pharaoh, H3318 [H8689] and bring me H1004 out of this house:
15 H1589 [H8795] For indeed I was stolen away H776 from the land H5680 of the Hebrews: H6213 [H8804] and here also have I done H3972 nothing H7760 [H8804] that they should put H953 me into the dungeon.
  16 H8269 When the chief H644 [H8802] baker H7200 [H8799] saw H6622 [H8804] that the interpretation H2896 was good, H559 [H8799] he said H3130 to Joseph, H637 I also H2472 was in my dream, H7969 and, behold, I had three H2751 white H5536 baskets H7218 on my head:
17 H5945 And in the uppermost H5536 basket H3978 there was of all manner H4639 H644 [H8802] of baked goods H6547 for Pharaoh; H5775 and the birds H398 [H8802] ate H5536 them out of the basket H5921 upon H7218 my head.
18 H3130 And Joseph H6030 [H8799] answered H559 [H8799] and said, H6623 This is the interpretation H7969 of it: The three H5536 baskets H7969 are three H3117 days:
19 H7969 Yet within three H3117 days H6547 shall Pharaoh H5375 [H8799] lift up H7218 thy head H8518 [H8804] from off thee, and shall hang H6086 thee on a tree; H5775 and the birds H398 [H8804] shall eat H1320 thy flesh from off thee.
20 H7992 And it came to pass the third H3117 day, H6547 which was Pharaoh's H3117 H3205 [H8715] birthday, H6213 [H8799] that he made H4960 a feast H5650 to all his servants: H5375 [H8799] and he lifted up H7218 the head H8269 of the chief H8248 [H8688] butler H8269 and of the chief H644 [H8802] baker H8432 among H5650 his servants.
  21 H7725 0 And he restored H8269 the chief H8248 [H8688] butler H4945 to his butlership H7725 [H8686] again; H5414 [H8799] and he gave H3563 the cup H6547 into Pharaoh's H3709 palm:
  22 H8518 [H8804] But he hanged H8269 the chief H644 [H8802] baker: H3130 as Joseph H6622 [H8804] had interpreted to them.
  23 H8269 Yet the chief H8248 [H8688] butler H2142 [H8804] did not remember H3130 Joseph, H7911 [H8799] but forgot him.
