Follow thou me. ²³ And this saying went forth among the brethren, that this disciple would not die. Yet Jesus did not say, that he would not die; but, If I will that he abide here until I come, what is that to thee. ²⁴ This is the disciple who hath testified of all these things, and hath written them: and we know, that his testimony is true. ²⁵ And there are also many other things, which Jesus did; which, if written out with particularity, the world itself, as I suppose, would not suffice for the books that would be written.
