  5 H1980 וילך went H1732 דוד So David H376 ואנשׁו and his men H7084 קעילה to Keilah, H3898 וילחם and fought H6430 בפלשׁתים with the Philistines, H5090 וינהג and brought away H853 את   H4735 מקניהם their cattle, H5221 ויך and smote H4347 בהם מכה slaughter. H1419 גדולה them with a great H3467 וישׁע saved H1732 דוד So David H853 את   H3427 ישׁבי the inhabitants H7084 קעילה׃ of Keilah.
  6 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass, H1272 בברח fled H54 אביתר when Abiathar H1121 בן the son H288 אחימלך of Ahimelech H413 אל to H1732 דוד David H7084 קעילה to Keilah, H646 אפוד an ephod H3381 ירד he came down H3027 בידו׃ in his hand.
  7 H5046 ויגד And it was told H7586 לשׁאול Saul H3588 כי that H935 בא was come H1732 דוד David H7084 קעילה to Keilah. H559 ויאמר said, H7586 שׁאול And Saul H5234 נכר hath delivered H853 אתו   H430 אלהים God H3027 בידי him into mine hand; H3588 כי for H5462 נסגר he is shut in, H935 לבוא by entering H5892 בעיר into a town H1817 דלתים that hath gates H1280 ובריח׃ and bars.
  8 H8085 וישׁמע called H7586 שׁאול And Saul H853 את   H3605 כל all H5971 העם the people H4421 למלחמה together to war, H3381 לרדת to go down H7084 קעילה to Keilah, H6696 לצור to besiege H413 אל to besiege H1732 דוד David H413 ואל   H376 אנשׁיו׃ and his men.
  9 H3045 וידע knew H1732 דוד And David H3588 כי that H5921 עליו against H7586 שׁאול Saul H2790 מחרישׁ secretly practiced H7451 הרעה mischief H559 ויאמר him; and he said H413 אל to H54 אביתר Abiathar H3548 הכהן the priest, H5066 הגישׁה Bring hither H646 האפוד׃ the ephod.

  4 H1732 Then David H7592 [H8800] enquired H3068 of the LORD H3254 [H8686] yet again. H3068 And the LORD H6030 [H8799] answered H559 [H8799] him and said, H6965 [H8798] Arise, H3381 [H8798] go down H7084 to Keilah; H5414 [H8802] for I will give H6430 the Philistines H3027 into thine hand.
